I like the way you approach your builds, Earl. It is very forward-thinking, in terms of how you like every piece to perform with your other parts, such as the electronics. I do like those low profile fans from game-changer, they look really nice.
fricken epic! i never liked the idea of of just cutting out a piece of mesh or drilling out lexan... it looks so trashy. I pay a lot for my machines, why on earth would i cheap out on covers... I like when everything looks clean and functional. Game changer for sure is the best.
Awesome video man. Gcf just take my money already.... loving all th new product. Also what's your opinion and theory on blowing fans vs pushing fans for heat disipation. I work in the HVAC field and find this topic all to interesting. What's your take Earl?
The reason why I ask is because when I think of cooling metal I think of trying to get the heat off it as quickly as possible so by getting the fans to pull the heat off the object fast will helps to keep it from heating up and then over heating
Very nice build Earl. I’m getting ready to pull some V2 electronics out as well and a limitless build like yours is definitely an option for the stock electrics to go in. Beautiful looking car. Awesome game changer fans as well. 👍🏾💯💪🏾
What do you think about a kill mode 6 pack 13,200uf cap pack for speed runs with a mmx8s and 1717 motor. I didn’t know if it was for drag racing or if it would do well for speed runs.
That right hand fan is not spinning, you can see it when you click the switch to the on position directly after your close up. And when you click it off and you see the left fan slow down and stop it’s very obvious.
Got it, ok, thanks. That is a beautiful build! The car looks sic, purposeful and fast. Cant wait to see some runs! It’s the limitless build done right, that’s for sure!
Hi Earl I have been following for lil bit. keep the videos coming. I got interested in watching your videos now I have a few builds going on. I would like to know your recommendations for the limitless for speed runs over 100 mph. Love the fans I ordered the other fans from game changer. I may order those low profile fans.
I like the stock location for a build to 135 mph I run a 1515 2200 kv castle motor and a mmx8s on 8s even tho the motor not rated for it 27 pinion 34 spur fir a 120 mph then 29 pinion and 34 spur fir 135 mph but you can’t keep pushing back to back runs got to let it cool before each run and watch temps close or install a 1717 1650 kv and do back to back runs gearing a little higher on the pinion with that set up 💯💯💯
@@earlmoorhead5555 thanks for the info Earl. Really appreciate you taking the time to reply to my questions. I have a drag car also was inspired by your nova. Will you be going back anytime soon to that? Saw you bashing the Mojave bought one of those too. Thanks for all the tips great and useful information. Blew out the tires on the limitless got some new batteries going 8s see what it does 🙏 I keep it straight!😅
Earl will you please help me build my limitlesses right...ill send them to you or whatever I have 2 brand new limitless that I just need help with... yesterday I put my limitless on 8s and my pinion gear ⚙ blew up or something 😤 o don't know what to do...the gearing has been my biggest issues
hey I've been watching your channel for a while and like how you do things. I am looking into getting some gc fans but my question for you is have you tested the temps with the fans flowing both ways? I know that stock the fans blow onto esc, but I am hearing from certain people that you want to have the fans pull the heat from the motor or esc and flow away. It seems like it's a dumb question but I think there might be something there. thanks
