Flysky was out performing the RC6GS as we also have that and found the range to be wanting vs the Noble NB4 with FTr10 twin antenna receiver that has a range up to 3500 meters (air) so around 1500m on ground
Wow that is fast, its that 197mph ? that would make you like around the 3rd fasted in the world - crongrats 👍 not a lot of point us building a srious speed car as no where to run it apart from the two ROSSA events each year, but they are over 400 miles from where i live
@@HardcoreRC I haves feeling the competition between Jack and Callum is gonna be like a see saw back and forth!!! Should be some great footage along the way!! 👊👊👍👍 I’ve yet to have a flip over land on camera during a speed run but I’ve crashed my Infraction pretty good during them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Addicted_2RC Oh im sure it is, each of them always wants to be the fastest and highest, good competition is healthy. Its always the way, get the crashes on camera but when you get the high speed flips and lands its always off camera
Another great vid chaps 👌 would love to get into some speed runs but after seeing the problems you’ve had along the way finding places to run it’s out me off a bit. Also lately been noticing with the speed run vids once your upto speed 1 little bump in the rd sends it flying every time 😬😎😂 with only car parks around it’s something that will have to wait i think but certainly loving your content as always 👏👊
I looked up as i heard it leave the ground and just saw it flipping and twisting and then landing on its wheels - per cold not rehearsed reaction from me 😂
Hehe - think we have all learnt now 😂, it was strange as where the cars were lifting was so far after the lip no one really thought it was the lip, until you see the replays in slow motion
Sorry i didn't film any of that car, its a stock Felony with a Delta Plastik C8 Corvette body on it, sadly the stock Spektrum ESC went up in smoke though . deltaplastikusa.com/
You gentlemen need to loosen up the front suspension a little, and stiffen up the rear. Also you must take off the front spoilers, and don't brake so fast. Stay at full trigger about 3 seconds longer.
@@HardcoreRC just those few little changes will increase your speed to about 120 or 125. Also try gearing 29 spur/ 43 pinion on the 1100 kv motor, you will get about 145 out of it with that set up, and loosening up the front suspension and tightening up the rear will keep you from going airborne!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me 🫣 then 0:03 comes also Me ohhhh shit! Dam my slash vxl does that i hate it when it lifts up like that at highspeeds 🤬 i love the passes though and having fun 💯…. HI KEVIN 🔥🔥
@@HardcoreRC yea dude i hear you and i only did 50mph so far i havent been to a big space to see what it can really do im also looking to get a Typhon 6s also :)
Nice runs but a bit of bad luck on the rough runway. Both cars are looking sick with the custom sticker kits lovely guys.👍and I give a 9.9 for the backflip with a twist half somersault,😜
Range is great, especially if you use the Ftr10 dual antenna receiver, they also have a new transmitter coming out on 10th October, see my recent community post for a leak picture
@@HardcoreRC my mates & I have an outdoor velodrome close we run at, got a Limitless goin 125kph. Wltoys about 95kph. 15min runtime on wltoys. Seeing a Limitless drift a cnr at about 100+ kph is beautiful till you "touch" a fence.
@@brentanllewellyn3898 that musty be a nice place to run them, super smooth i imagine. Yep seeing them get airborne is nice, its the landing r what they hit that sucks 😂
Currently the 1100kv is fastest. Need to tune both more to see though, but suspect the 1100kv will still be the fasest. Although for proper speed runs the Hobbywing systems are not the best, Castle and TP Motors would be better
Yep we all hit it, on the day it didn't look like it was the gap doing it as it happened away from the gap, but then the slow mo you can clearly see its the gap. Need to find a new runway
@@HardcoreRC yeah I tried to pause your video to see exactly where it started to lift as well and that gap just seems to be enough if you hit it perfectly to bounce the wheels and get air under the car 👎 I have only been able to hit 114mph with my Limitless so far because of the area. I'm trying to find the best place to run it within an hour of my house 👍 Hope you guys are able to find the perfect spot!
@@brandonreid4511 Yeah when you slo mo it you can see the wheels lift and its enough for the air to then start getting under the car. 114mph well done 👍👍 what system are you running ? UK roads suck for finding good speed run spots - hope you find somewhere as it is addictive
@@HardcoreRC Yeah I thought so! And I just finished my first speed build with my Limitless. I'm running a 1/5 TP Motors 5650 1440kv, Mamba Monster ESC, Over geared 36/34 and a RippleKiller 8s cap pack. Trying to slowly build up to the 150mph mark that I believe I can get with it rightnow. I totally understand as here in Ontario, Canada ALOT of our roads are in terrible shape and the best places I've found so far have been in a local smaller city but looking to find a new paved country road to really open it up 👍 Love your guy's channel! Hopefully I get a camera to video my speed runs, love your BigRock too as I got a Typhon 3s I put new 150a Firma ESC and motor setup in to try and see if I can hit 100mph with it! Waiting on a few more needed upgrades. Keep up the awesome content and hard work guy's 💪👍
@@brandonreid4511 Thanks for your kind words brother 👍 with that TP motor it should fly, hope you can hit that big 150mph mark, that would be a huge achievement. When i see these roads the Americans can get to use im so very very very jealous
@@dzl2716 retailer would depend where in the world you are. We have two mounts that work the best being PPS: practicalproto.com/collections/frontpage/products/grublock-motor-mount-for-arrma-6s-blx-platform Other one but much harder to set mesh is from MMM: www.mmm-germany.com/shop/arrma/
@@isaackshirley4695 for the big Outcast 8s then yes the 800kv will be better than the 1100kv as it has more torque and can be geared to a 1:1 ratio (39/39)
good job buddy. Because of you guys I am going to my local hobby store and get one. Did Kevin hit that same spot with is speed run. Very sad but a learning experience. I am going to find a speed run area and fill up all the cracks. It could have been worse. It could have been my RC🤣🤣.
