Don't use the HW 1650KV motor on 8s. From what I hear, it blows up with time on the Mojave and even the Xmaxx. It's not rated for 8s. The Castle 1717 1650kv motor is rated for 8s, even though mine over heated and got damaged while on 8s. I bought an other one and will try again this time more carefully 👍
Very cool! I run the same system! I put a outcast wheelie bar on mine because once the rear bumper hits it flips. I also found running it on 6 s it performs better in the air. Flip monster. FYI, I did burn out my esc using 8 s after a few months. The esc will run 8s but it is not rated for it on Hobbywing website. Great video! Had a lot of fun watching! 👍💯
The ESC is rated for 8s but the motor is not. Did you meant to say the motor? Yeah I think that I'm going to run it on 6s only from now on. It's plenty for this truck 👍
Yeah I do. So far so good. I haven't ran them a whole bunch of times, but they are very durable beasts. Even when I botch landings while throwing them off a ramp.

Got a outcast EXB 8S which I'm building now with M2c chassis. Outcast V4 6S which I love. Yeah not gonna bash to much during winter cold is not good things break easy. But probably gonna do some speed runs with my typhon soon. 👍👊
@@joseCalderon1976 nice i have both the mojave exb and K8s exb. What system are you running on your Kraton? I have a rocket 1650 paired w a max6 in my mojave. It glides on high speeds. My kraton has the spektrum 8s system but want to upgrade to a max5
On 6e, the 1600kv is still better than the higher Kv motor since it's way more powerful, more torque and you can gear up with less heat issues. It's also faster with just a few more teeth on the pinion.
