Always enjoy seeing you run the Talion. It does so well at the bmx track you frequent. Gave mine its first off road bash on Sunday. Gonna change the wheels to Backflip 4S which a lot of users seem to rate.
Great video JayTee, one I hoped to see at some point as I was either going to buy the Corally Muraco / Shogun or a Talion EXB. I already went with the Talion EXB though I won't rule out a Muraco / Shogun at some point. Thanks for keeping on the uploads sir.
@Buffalo Soldier Haha I never noticed that so thanks for pointing it out. I have bought the Corally Shogun and a Talion EXB since posting that 8 months ago.
@pipnmaz I now own a Muraco but am noticing that the front end nearly touches the ground. I attempted to adjust the suspension but that did little to nothing. This is my first TC car so I am not sure if this is just how it is supposed to be or if the shocks are just to soft. Or, I have heard that sometimes rear shocks are accidentally installed on these vechiles from the factory. Either way it annoys me that I have to now go out and replace the shocks. Can't be driving a car around that is basically dragging against the ground at low speeds. Yes, it is fast but no faster than the Typhoon 6s or Arrma Talion with an 18 tooth pinion. Maybe I was a bit to critical of Arrma in my previous post. I kind of see why they charge more money now that I am sampling for the first time in a while a non-Arrma or Traxxass vechile. I was under the impression this thing did 68 out of the box and that is not the case. 61 yes, but not worth it given that the front suspension is crap.
@@XWXW-lk4jf Hey there, sorry I just saw your comment 14 hours late. I agree completely about the suspension on the Muraco, in fact I already own a TC Radix 4 and Radix 6 before buying the Muraco and I felt the same way about the suspension on those, so much so that I have bought all new suspension springs for all of them. I took a guess and bought the harder springs for the Radix and Muraco and even then found they needed the adjusters on the shocks wound most of the way down even with the stiffer option springs fitted. I only managed to get the front end to be half decent by fitting the longer rear shocks to the front so they were cranked tight and kept the front lifted to a way I found acceptable. It is strange that TC have a reputation for race tuned buggies and top quality suspension but I found the Radix 4, Radix 6 and Muraco all need modifying to make them useable.
I was looking at purchasing an rc truggy in 1/8 scale and have narrowed down my choices to the aarma talion and the corally shogun. I know you test the muraco here but I don’t know if you have the shogun. I was hoping to get some info/suggestions or just opinions. I know they’re both fast. I’m not sure if one is noticeably faster. I’m not looking to race these or jump them off huge jumps. They will be driven on and off road as fast as possible and some mild jumps and bumps but not looking to durability test them, just have fun and hopefully not break too much.
Shogun in Muarco are the same truck... just different bodies. The Talon is going to be the strongest out of all three of them because of the exb version in the 7075 aluminum on it.
@@JayTeeRC I didn’t know that. Is one of them noticeably faster? I see you’re saying the edge in durability goes to the talion. Does either of them have a clear edge in performance?
Arrma tailon is faster out the box only because the spur gear ⚙️ I'm sure they can be faster then one another if there geared differently both great cars.
