Ok so the 3S Typhon is $400 & the 6S Typhon is $285 more… should I just save the extra $ & go with the 6S? I’m from Canada & I’m super Happy I found your Channel & I’m loving all the Material!
Yes most definitely get the 6s. You will enjoy the 3s for a little while, then you will crave the big block 6s. Be sure to change the center diff oil to 300k. The speed and handling is way more stable. Save the heartache and go 6s mate.
I think the issue you've been having after watching the vids on tyres, Is you should try 300k oil in the center diff. It should be like night and day and will make Typhon extremely stable, In turn, putting equal amounts of power to the front and rear.
I have the same setup on my Typhon and I bought these 2.8 1/10th scale tires directly from Method RC. After purchasing them I was talking with Medthod RC and they said that these wouldn’t work on the Typhon. They told me to get the Mojave 1/8th scale tires, but I didn’t care for the looks of them because of the height. So told them I was going to try told them out. I mentioned that I saw them on your channel, but we are trying to figure out what hex adapters you are using. If you could let me know that would be awesome. Thx JJ
The link takes me to "TERRAFORM ALL-TERRAIN BELTED 1/10TH MONSTER TRUCK TIRES ON ARRAY BEADLOCK 12/14MMMM HEX WHEELS (2PCS)" on their website. I'm presuming these are the tires you installed on the typhon..... Which wheel adapters did you order along with the tires?
My two cents is the belted mx28 is garbage. (Rip off rim to easy)Hex strips went and bought the aluminum Hex adapters. Took them off after my first bash. Wast of $180. Only proline wheel I will buy is mx28 buggy wheels for the typhon 6s.They are solid. As far as truggified nah.I would rather run my outcast 4s and 6s. Nice vid and wheels.👍👊❤️
Did those rims and tires mount up with no rubbing or did you have to install the Kraton hubs so they don't rub? Some people say you have to change the front and rear hubs. I have a Typhon TLR Tuned and I want to install off road bashing tires and rims.
