Arrma Typhon 6s quick tips and tricks. (Mostly common sense stuff) 

me too. Old school audio stuff sounds so much better than anything besides apex audio stuff from today.. but you have to get into the 30 thousand dollar setups before you start sounding better than every day audio equipment from back in the day.. These speakers rattle my whole building and sound amazing doing it.!!!

I will definitely get back into it when I'm out of a apartment, my old technics reciever and 4 12s would knock the air out the room, back in the 90s, I'm thinking of a older high power 2ch with cerwin vega 15s and advent 8s for second room for my next setup

@@davidpistek6241 i had a pair of cerwin vega 15's back in the day they CRANKED!!!

Those red 15s were iconic in the day, nowhere near as efficient as a soundbar but the visual impact and the house shaking bass can't be replicated with the newer stuff

you can have it however you want it. if you want them perfectly straight then yeah you absolutely can set them up that way. get the servo centered first and once the servo is perfectly centered you can mess with the linkages to get the angle youre looking for. and it really depends on what youll be doing with it. For bashing youll put the least amount of stress on the links and other steering parts with the wheels straight on landing. But you can adjust the camber and toe to be the best for any style. the typhon is extremely good at being whatever you want it to be and using it for whatever style you feel like.

yeah water in the tire will blow it out REAL quick when youre in the higher end cars with insane wheel speed.. and yeah 2 holes will also work. you dont HAVE to make 4 holes or anything.. i just like to do 4 holes so they water can drain no matter where it accumulates in the foam. and ive only ripped one tire from making a hole but that was enough to make me paranoid about it now every time i vent tires. lol.

no im in NY. and apparently it wasnt my building that banned plastic bags, apparently it was this piece of trash governor we have.. plastic bags are banned state wide as of march. so pathetic. NY isnt anywhere near as liberal as california, but we are highly democrat, which might as well be the same thing. theyre just as bad. And much appreciated for the sub!!

But im a conservative. i have liberal and democrat friends, but its very hard to be a conservative and watch your state turn into everything you hate about the world. its slowly dying at the hands of peopel who think (probably) that theyre doing teh right thing, but whats right is only right for them. not for me. banning plastic bags to save on pollution is fine. im all good with cutting down on pollution, but plastiuc bags werent the issue. how about the millions of cars dumping millions of gallons of poinson into the air? or th companies doing the same thing? ya know? theres so many other things that are an actual threat to the cleanliness of our air and water.. and even those things i dont want banned.. just figure out a way to make car exhaust less dangerous.. like have all 2020 and up cars put some type of filter on the exhaust.. anything other than straight up banning things. cuz honestly, who tf are they to tell ME what im allowed to use. we arent talkingt about nukes or giraffes here. theres some common sense things that people dont need to have. but bags is just fuckin ridiculous imo.

yeah ive heard of this method and heard it works great. ive never personally felt a need to buy extra stuff to do it when i have drill bits already in hand. plus i like the holes to be super tiny.. thats why i used a 3/32 size bit. but yeah the tubing method works for sure!

yeah it does. I superglued a thick piece of plastic on the inside of the body so the servo horn wouldnt run through the paint on the body.

@@jstagzsr ok thanks for the reply ive asked alot if people and no one will answer . Must be a common issue. I just got a 6s v5 and having issues getting the front straight. When I turned it on the wheels went left and I binded a dx5c radio to it so now I get to have fun trying to figure the dam thing out and to be honest this is my first ever arrma . Was told radio that came with it was crap and was upsold the dx5c so now I'm kinda lost. Also left side if suspension lifts some when I turn wheels left. But not when turning right.. sorry for the rant you just seam experienced.

@@jasons3233 np man. I try to reply to all questions on my videos. do this: Take off servo horn. Off the servo. Adjust turn buckles evenly so tires are both straight Set radio trims to dead center Turn on radio and car Straighten wheels. Point them straight. Put servo horn back on straight as possible. If steering still needs to be adjusted, adjust it via the radio. ------------------------------------------------------------------ As far as the tires lifting, once you get the steering straightened out that might stop. If not lmk.

I fully disagree. If sealed tires were better than vented then every high power car on earth would come with sealed tires. There are many reasons why venting is mandatory. Not just dirt.

In the word of racing yes I agree. Cause the tires don’t last long and come off the rim to be changed. Plus they don’t run in water. But in the world of bashing no way. Go weight you tires new and go run thought a lot of mud and water and then weight them after. I bet you there heavier after.

@@leviblocher1895 no.. nothing gets in the tires when you vent them. the hole is too small and they spin too fast. the entire point of venting them is so water and mud and dirt and shit DONT get in your tire.. and you think theyre gonna have a noticable weight difference? i dont wanna sound rude or mean but you clearly have no idea what youre talking about. ask literally anybody about their opinions on vented vs unvented. for every thousand people who vent their tires maybe youll find 2 who dont because they dont know about venting. any serious RC racer or basher vents their tires.

yeah i got the servo from arrma a few days ago and its already back up and runnin. i was actually just about to upload another video after i edit. ive been out runnin it for a few days now and loving it!! and yeah ive actually ONLY ran this on 6s. it is a freakin monster!!! pro tip for the typhon 6s v4, make sure your batteries can handle it (50-60C+) and turn your punch settings up to 9 (max) and youll discover a whole new beast that was waiting to be unleashed! lol.

On 6s, my typhon is basically unnecessarily fast. Freaking love it.

@@shelbyseelbach9568 yeah its actually quite literally too fast.. besides the stock rims and tires, i have not gotten more than 1 run on ANYYYYYY set of rims and tires ive bought for it.. every single time i run it i destroy rims or tires because the wheel speed is just too fast. the tires spin so fast with so much torque that it rips the rubber to shreds, sometimes within seconds of the first run.. the punch turned all the way up, with the speed pinion, it is absolutely way too fast.. and that is absolutely fine with me!!!!!

Short answer, no. Long answer: You CAN mix a 2s 5400mah and 4s 5400mah. All a lipo is is individual cells. 2s= two 4.2v cells. 7s = seven 4.2v cells. So using different S batteries is fine. All you're doing is adding more cells. We do this every time we build a battery. Lots of small cells= one large battery. Series for adding up the voltages, parallel for adding up the capacities and discharge current. But the problem arrives with the different capacities. 5400mah and 7000mah are not compatible. The lower "mah" pack will drain faster and at a lower voltage have to discharge at a higher current to meet the wattage of the ESC. Which can easily put it over its max spec. But even if it doesn't break the max spec line and stuff you into possible fire territory, its still a no go. It's not even a good idea to mix different brands or even different age batteries even if they're the same make and model because internal resistances are gonna be different.

@@tone1132 lmao. I have a cabinet with about 500 used shopping bags but it doesn't do me any good when the stores only hand out paper bags. Which rip EVERY time and are hard to hold. All because some morons want to cry about things that don't matter.. like plastic bags are the reason the world is polluted.. cardboard straws are even more ridiculous. Luckily those disappeared as quickly as they came tho.

I use "zeee power" 5200 mAh 60C lipos. They're great batteries.

no. You dont want the hole to be in the knobbies. Its too thick and any dirt or mud that dries in the now way longer tube you just created will seal the hole. Its harder to seal the thinner parts. you want the hole out of the way of where the contact is being made with the ground. it doesnt rip because youre not making a jagged hole. You make a smoothe hole. and a rip doesnt form. all tires can rip no matter what you do but there are ways to negate certain issues. no matter where you vent them doesnt matter 99.99999% of the time because its almost definitely not going to rip in either place. But there are other reasons you want the vent on the thinner part.

@@jstagzsr It's too thick...yah, the seal too sealed even though the ballooning is massive, thats gone, drill a smoooooooth hole in the thickest part of the tyre is in my eyes is better than in the thinest part of........

I was using two 3S 5200mah Zeee Power lipos. They hit the body she'll but barely. Now I use a single 6S 5200mah Zeee Power lipos and it fits perfectly. Try rotating your batteries till they're in the best orientation

@@dudespace4485 youd have to look at the size of the battery and compare it to your own battery tray.. The only battery i can confirm being a perfect fit is the 6S 5200mah Zeee Power Lipo i mentioned earlier. Ive only ever used 3 batteries on my typhon.

I cant remember what i specifically said in this video but im 99% sure i was fully accurate. It's not like its all that complicated of a proces.. Clog the rim holes, add the tire holes.. lol. Not much to get wrong there.

Lol. Tell me you have no throttle control without telling me you have no throttle control .... They're soft rubber on a trillion rpm rim.... WTF did you think was gonna happen when you mash the throttle the whole time and let the asphalt grind your tires into dust? I still have the stock tires from that car.. Tires are a part you just have to replace eventually. no matter what you do they will wear down. But if a single 4s pack had your tires from brand new to bald in a single run then the problem isnt the tires dude.

@@jstagzsr The 6S V5 is my 5 year old grandson's birthday present. Great grandpa got him a Honda Z50r. For his age he is an excellent driver, he let her rip, didn't tip, and had more fun driving it then any adult ever could. Got lots on video and damn the 6S is Fast🚀🚀🚀🚀
