Man, I can't wait to get my Typhon 6S to an actual track, and other places where I can drive worry-free. My subdivision sucks for R/C cars, and I want to see what I can do with my car in the proper setting. This video was awesome.
That was a great video you did the Typhon justice. I feel it’s over looked in the lineup but it’s just a beast. 1/8 buggy on 6S, and so tough as well. I had a V4 and sold it. Really thinking to pick up a V5. I was hoping for a EXB Typhon roller
There is a few more differences then the metal chassis and bigger ESC and motor! How about the gearing? Or the dog bones upper and lower A arms!! Adjustable toe and camber adjustable shock angle and the list goes on!! Only similarity is the name and company!!
@@FivoNine hell yeah. i’ve seen the sawblade videos before and thought it looked like it was around here. Looking at buying a 6s typhon myself this summer. do you still like yours?
@iigilbyii Yea I do, might not be the fastest car on the track since it's pretty heavy compared to track cars, but I love it that you can bash it and still be a good track buggy
Nice!👍🏾, I have a 6s kraton it’s a blast!, I almost go the e-revo, but I didn’t want to always have to play with the suspension to keep it from breaking, and the price$$.
Hell yeah man I was in the exact same boat myself was gonna do the e-revo but decided on the v5 6s kraton and I am LOVING it. Was always a buggy guy but since I don’t race really anymore the kraton is perfect. It’s handled literally anything I’ve thrown at it.
Is this a good choice over bandit vxl, i need something i can use at my local rc track, something that is reliable, steering is quick and relatively fast
I really wanna buy this rc but idk if I should do a single 6s 6000mah to keep temps down or go for the longer run time and run two 3s 5000mah a piece. What do you think?
I'm a Japanese person currently living in Arizona. I bought a typhon. HOBBY ACTION could not make a running trowel. If you know of a circuit where you can drive the Typhon, please let me know.
I love Traxxas but when it comes to Bashers and Buggies. I feel you're getting a way better product with Arrma nowadays. There is not much you need to upgrade on these beast's.
Like your videos buddy! Hey where ya from? Guessing somewhere Washington state, maybe near Spokane by the looks of the area? I live in the Tri-cites and been looking for a RC track. There's no tracks anywhere here. I have the 3s Typhon and absolutely love it.
Thank you man, yea I'm from Spokane and this is the Hank Perry Rc track. I wish there was more tracks. I love the typhoon platform, fun and fast buggies 😁
@@FivoNine Is the track open all the time and is there any fee to run on it? Also is there any outlets for a battery charger? I have an inverter for my car if not. I'll definitely plan a trip up there sometime and I'll hit ya up when I do.
@@herozero1287 Track is open all the time except when there is water on the track after it rains, there is no fee and there is tables and outlets to charge batteries. Not sure exactly when but sometime in spring they change up the track completely, I'll have to look it up somewhere and let you know when they do that
@@FivoNineThank you! I've been doing a lot of research on forums and YT, but only a few people have experience running both the 3s and the 6s on a track. I bought the 3s, then sold the electronics on eBay and bought a Hobbywing EZRun MAX10 G2 140 Amp Sensored Brushless Waterproof ESC/3665SD Motor Combo (3200kV)
@@FivoNine that it is.... the new layout looks fun also... if you come out for the club races this summer you can find me in the RD booth... I may miss the first one on the 5th, my bonus kid has her HS graduation that day....but there's a race this Saturday in Potlatch to start the Palouse River RC series. I found this video looking into possibly picking up one of these for my son to get started into the Ebuggy class. Do you think with a bit of tuning and tires it would do decent at the club race level?
