We can be Kraton brothers !! Lol but I keep thinking about the typhon. But also think I won’t be able to jump it like a Kraton or be as good on grass like the Kraton. I do have a race buggy track by my house but it’s fir members only and you have to pay per race so I can’t use it for practice at all unless I join. Help me if you can only have one which one would you choose ?

Love this typhon it's very durable stability power is insane I sold my vendetta and other buggy this is my fav so far from arrma it's so much it can do on off race etc
I just purchased on 10th. On the 21st I burst my back tire. I upgrade to some pro lines and its even BETTER on the street. I'm about the put the 18T pinion in tonight.
Nice video!!! I'm running GRP GT tires on the street. I do have the Badlands for off road but the stock tires are good off pavement too. This is a great and versatile rc. Change tires and ride height for pavement or off road. This thing jumps awesome too! Adjusting the steering rate makes speed runs easy.

Got mine today gang 👍 got 500,000 diff fluid in the center. Probably get another 500,000 in the front and 100,000 in the rear! Running a 4s battery 6500 mah 120c. Will upgrade to a 6s battery soon 😎

What’s nuts before they even put out the same car with the new motor setup and name it v5 I put this setup a while ago from my felony and absolutely loved it they nailed it I own 3 typhon and absolutely love them

Yeah the tyres get destroyed on the street after a few runs haha. I have the v4 hardly use it now.. need to get new tyres and get back on it. Oh and my wing was destroyed after first run 🤣 It went into a cartweel roll ..
I cant decide between the new V5 Typhon 6s or Kraton 6s. Besides the tire size what are some of the main differences between them? Typhon more speed and handling vs more off road for the Kraton?
@@moerc yeah I'm in Ohio so will have quite a bit of season change and snow possible. I'm not planning on launching over massive jumps or anything just some pavement and thick yard grass and a dirt baseball field here and there. Iv seen the Typhon struggle just a tad in taller grass. But I love the speed and handling on pavement and lite dirt hat I see in people videos.

Can you do more in depth set up on the v 5 Including settings And if there's a battery Difference. can you run it straight out of the Box with just a 3 or 4 cell or 6 Without causing damage

I came here because I just got a brand new V4 and wanted to see the difference between the V5 and V4. I don't think the V5 it's worth $100 more than the V4.
Speed runs? The typhon is your ride. It rocks on and off-road. Bashing the kraton is a beast and typhon is as well. I guess what do you like? Monster truck or buggy? Kraton is a lot bigger than the typhon.
I have never owned the v4, but the engine and esc on the v5 have the same specs as v4. Better remote with the v5. Smart technology that feeds telemetry data to the app on your phone as well. Appreciate you being here! 👊🏽🏎🤙🏽🤝
I use 2 -3s -120c 5200mah smc lipos for speed runs. For recreational use I run hoovo 5200 mah-single 6s pack-80c. Google should get you to where you need to get them. 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🏎🏎🏎

@@moerc a mix of asphalt and grass fields, some dirt trails. Some jumps but nothing extreme . I like speed and handling but also want something rugged and good off-road
@@moerc it's tough because although I really like the Kraton, I really love the Typhon. Mostly because in all the video's I've seen of it, it just seems so damn quick and fast compared to everything else. The handling also seems awesome. It also has glowing reviews everywhere. Just not sure if I'll sacrifice too much off-road capability. Happy New Year to you as well!

The 4 had a blx electronics....and then the little minor stuff that was mentioned in his review.. Basically a better esc & motor in this one.... It comes in the felony. Its pretty bad ass
