@TTRC I love it and I was just watching your previous videos and getting down info of which parts you have on. and quick question? I see you got the 4mm m2c racing chassis which weight 425 grams. while scorched has a carbon fiber chassis that weighs 258 grams and don't know which one to choose. I mainly want my typhon for drag racing and high speeds

@pedroalonso6414 go for the carbon chassis if you are not bashing it. Scorched parts stuff is excellent. 👍

I like how you mention not wanting to have a bunch of messy wires everywhere. I agree. I guess the only way to really dress up the wiring is to rout everything and then cut and solder. Even when you buy a RTR the wiring is sloppy and often just folded over and tyraped.

Totally. I am going to do a small video on the wiring for the Typhon. I tend to build my rigs, work out all the fittings, then strip it all down before the final build with soldering done and correct loctite on the right bits. It takes longer, but it lasts longer. P.S. I hide a lot of the mess between the chassis and the ESC mount. 🙂👍

@@TTRC I do the same thing. Hide them dam wires. lol I think it would be cool if someone made small wire retainers for RCs. I often look at motor leads and think it would be cool if there was something like what they use to separate spark plug wires on a full size car to hold the motor leads in place.

There is. I think they are made by Core RC. I got a set of little carbon fibre lead holders, but I didn't like the fit. (They pinched the wires and were quite sharp at the edges). I now use cable ties. Wrap one loosely around all three wires, then use two more to separate them before tightening the first one. If you look closely on my videos, you should see what I mean.

Serious build! How do like to 4274? I'm looking for the Plus g2 with the g3 4274

Hi Sebb. I really like the 4274 in this rig. It's light weight, has loads of power and the ESC has lots of functions. 👍

Thanks Brad. Won't be too long. I also have a new bodyshell for it so it doesn't look like an old shell suit. 👍👍

Thanks Al. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do with it. It's either a carpark dart or a truggy/buggy. I'm going to mess about with it a bit and then decide. Thanks for watching buddy. Nice to hear from you. 👍

Have you seen anyone put this typhon on a kraton chasis yet? It extends them quite a bit longer then stock. Guy in Clarksville asylum xtreme shop built one.

I haven't seen anyone do it on a TLR Typhon yet, but I'm sure someone will. 👍

Hi mate. I am considering this. Why did you not go for the Max8 with 2200kv?
@TTRC
@TTRC 2 года назад
I was going to go for that. The one I went for is pretty much the same as the max8, but it is sensored and has a couple of other features like coast and drag functions. You can also set up power delivery. It is quite popular with buggy and truggy racers. 👍
