Oliver had an Ironman death but a Captain America ending. 😭🥺

What makes this ending even better is that Oliver finally gets what he wants and what we all wanted for him. An eternity of peace and happiness. No more pain, no more hell, no more loss, and most importantly... An eternity with the love of his life.

The fact that this show started when I was in the 8th grade and is concluding this year as I am about to graduate college makes me wonder where the time has gone.

When felicity sees oliver and how oliver is just waiting for her gives me titanic vibes when rose dies and shes back with jack with their old clothes and all

Funny thing is that thanks to Oliver's sacrifice that he made it possible for the monitor to return to fulfill a wish he had for Felicity after her mission was done to set up the new team Green Arrow in the future.

This was actually a better ending that I expected. I've been watching from the season 1. It had to end but overall its been quite a ride.

You know when you think about we had to wait EIGHT months to see where exactly Felicity ended up here in that portal.

The ending is not only romantic, but very enigmatic as well because Felicity and Olver finally reconnect after so long at the same office Oliver first spied on Felicity when he was still presumed dead. They finally got their happy ending!!!

I feel like Oliver deserved a happy ending with his kids and his wife alive and well and he can see diggle, team arrow and barry whenever he wants. That’s what makes his death so sad to me he might be with Felicity in the afterlife but the rest of his family which is not just felicity but his kids, diggle, team arrow even earth 2 laurel and especially barry are his family too and they will never see him agains which makes it heartbreaking. I see this ending as bittersweet because at least he’ll be with felicity.

When oliver went to jail, felicity said "I will wait for you". It took almost 1 year, but she was finally reunited. When oliver died, felicity had to wait 20+ years to reunite with oliver. 🥺

Long Live Oliver Queen! May you heroes of the next generation remember what it takes to be a hero...be your own kind of hero and fight your demons and crime with an iron fist and sheer will of power to give ppl hope

Why I fell for is knowing that after how many relationships Oliver had-- Felicity was there to witness every heartbreaks of Oliver she never left him, even if she was left alone after 20 yrs. she waited for that final moment to be with him.

Absolutely loved this ending! The only problem I had with it is the inconsistency on the IT department location. Here she said 7 floors but previously it was 18. Other than that, LOVED IT!!!!!

Arrow started when I was a little kid in 7th grade and it ended in the same day as my birthday when I turned 21 years old in 2020, its a end of an era for me, my childhood and past is no more and my entire life changed forever. An entire, whole new beginning was born for me because my life as an adult now is a renaissance, a new rebirth and its the first time for everything for me, its a chance to make things right, to be a better person, and its a chance of redemption for me.

I remember in Season 3 I was always waiting for him to tell her this story on the plane.

Man. They really did this show right. I mean, there were some bumpy bits. I'll admit, I was really upset at some of the newer additions to the team at some points, but at the end of the day, nothing takes away from the fact that this is OLIVER's story. He spends ten years of his life going through hell all over the world. First, his dad shoots himself right in front of him. He's marooned on an island and has to go through unspeakable horrors to survive, and even when he leaves that island, it only gets worse. He feels this monster rising inside of him. To fend it off, he becomes someone, someTHING, else. I could detail all the things he went through after he returned home, but we all know. Malcolm. Slade. Ra's. Savage. Darhk. Caden. Prometheus. Diaz. Emiko. They all came after him-- and one by one, no matter who or what they took from him, he never stopped. Starling City, and then Star City, unknowingly sat on the shoulders of one man for over five years. They hunted him, hated him, hurt him... but he only went to prison in the end because it was worth it to HIM, for the people he cared for. He fought off an alien invasion with others who were pretty much all there because of the influence he had. He never meant to, but he inspired a new world. This was how his story was always going to end. No matter how much we all wanted it to never end, it was time to hang up the bow. Let the archer rest. Now he gets to spent the rest of eternity with the woman he loves... huh. Not a bad gig.

So now i know how and why oliver eyes were green back in season 4 when he overpowered damien darkhs magic with his own..he tapped into the power of the gods (spectre magic) and was able to completely overpower damien dharkh

I kind of hate that the show ended and Oliver had to die ( it was clear in the crossover Elseworlds) Even more after seeing season 7 and how Mia couldnt grow up with him. But the ending is cute. I hope the others will show up in the other shows sometimes.
