I'm not familiar with DIY crossbow slingshot construction, but the addition of a magnet to hold the ball bearing is genius. That would have never occurred to me. Great.
@@degaetano510 its function is to be a projectile. That was the thing he shot at the spray can before the wooden arrow. As the original comment suggested, the magnet stops it rolling back down the "barrel".
if i had to bet the vise is Bamboo and the red looking wood is mahogany wood i have lived in asia before those are 2 thing these people use the most ...i seen homes built out of nothing but Bamboo these asian people are very simple people and very down to earth people
Wow, this video blew me away! The craftsmanship and creativity demonstrated in creating the ARROW RAINER are truly remarkable. I have never seen a slingshot quite like this before, and it's evident that a great deal of thought and skill went into its design and construction. The step-by-step instructions provided in the video were clear and easy to follow, making it possible for viewers to understand the intricate process involved in building this unique slingshot. The attention to detail, from selecting the right materials to shaping and assembling the components, was impressive. The combination of wood and other elements resulted in a visually stunning and powerful tool. What I find particularly fascinating is how this slingshot not only serves as a recreational device but also showcases the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. The way the wooden frame was meticulously carved and polished, and the careful selection of materials for the handle and rubber bands, all contribute to its aesthetic appeal. Moreover, the demonstration of the slingshot's power and accuracy was awe-inspiring. It's evident that a lot of thought went into maximizing the projectile's speed and distance while maintaining safety. However, it's important to note that responsible and ethical use of such tools is paramount. Always ensure you are in a safe environment and follow any applicable local laws and regulations.Sir if you never mind, can you please pin my comment?
Most of the materials are salvaged from pallet stock. The rest of it from the drugstore. Very simple design and very sleek simple craftsmanship. Now just because I said simple and craftsmanship in the same sentence does not mean anything is simple. It's design is very simple not many parts everything has a purpose, there you go. And yeah it would look good hanging over a fireplace mantle
Went to the website to see if I could purchase one of these - I’d love to have one in my deer hunting kit for squirrels / rabbits - how would I go about purchasing one?
Hey bro so tried to reach out to yah on ur page. Under contact no email or number . I have a disfigured left hand from Dynamite and would like a custom made slingshot hold with left fire with right.shoot info let's talk
What a beautiful and painstaking piece of artwork ! Beautifully crafted, and not lacking for power, or accuracy ! Just need to start taking orders ! I would love to order one !
Very good work . I can give you a couple of suggestions. First, I would put a handle on the lower front part, it will give you more firmness when shooting, and then place a stabilizer on the arrows. In this case, it should be retractable. Greetings and again congratulations
@@WoodenDIY Here in Russia we'll soon have to remove capitalists, robbed our country. So your experience definitely will be very helpful in partisan war, he he... 😁😜🤭
Only improvement I could see would be mounting the rear sight on a dovetail so it can be adjusted by drifting it side to side. Very impressive build and excellent craftsmanship!
Awe yeah my man uses a Danish bow saw. There are so few of us that use them, everyone's all about Japanese saws but they are missing out on a real gem of a saw. Love it! Sick rotating vise you made too. My bench is just a regular old tail vise and I put on a big purple heart leg vise for some shits and giggles.
@Why So Serious? Awe someone's jealous. Maybe one day when you level up your personality and skill people will say nice things about you. Be mad bro, be mad. Lay in bed at night and think about how victimized you are and be mad. Lol. You are putting out some real loser energy. Go find a safe space to crawl into while you ponder what gender you are because you aren't a man.
thank you, it works very well for both functions, invite you to see more on my story, hope you support and share me.Thank you friend from the country of samba dance
It is amazing how people can think of the same things. I had an idea for this, basically a rifle that fired arrows instead of bullets, way back in 1979. It was just a concept, for use in a story I was writing. Amazing that somebody actually thought of it also and built one.
Great video. Used to make a very crude version of this which was just a plank with two nails at one end and a clothes peg at the other. This version wins!
I feel blown away to see this. I've had (almost) this exact idea floating around in my head for years. However, it never dawned on me to build it from beautiful exotic woods. My thought was to use PVC, and the motivation was to fire ping-pong balls.
PERO LO QUE MAS ME MARAVILLÓ, Y QUE YA NO SE VÉ EN LA ACTUALIDAD, SON SUS HERRAMIENTAS DE MADERA, NO SOLO EL TORNILLO DE BANCO (wood bench vise). PLEASE, CLAPP YOUR HANDS! ¡ UN VERDADERO ARTISTA DE LA MADERA!
@@WoodenDIY get a Patten , copy write go to as someone that can make dies , and produce them at larger scale, i think your concept is a good one, and make some cash you will do well!!
For this type of art there was a scarcity in our country. Everyone can't Do these, only a few talented souls can do this. We should respect and support thier skills.
" we forbade them weapons...they soon begain to fashion their own." Star trek , final frontier. nimbus 3 Impressive work . Thanks for showing how it's done.
You did Beautifull work, I can't say enough about how good it looks, I did rough carpentry I could never do such intricate work like you , I know my limits but you done some Beautifull work there, congratulations on this masterpiece, it's Beautifull
This video got me to subscribe. Doing videos with mainly wood makes it easy for people to follow as some people are unable to do things with metal but most people have wood lying around and can maybe follow your videos and make the cool things you do. Very skilled
I'll be honest, just saw the title and thought LET'S LEARN HOW TO MAKE SOME SLINGSHOT REAL QUICK. I wasn't expecting this. I must say, very well done. That slingshot is awesome 🤘🤘🤘
I envy the people with REAL talent, such as showcased here... Having dived into carpentry myself, I never got the opportunity to explore it as a hobby, even though I loved it! Even though I built common furniture like sofa's, armchairs, table and wall units, wardrobes, closets, etc. I never got to explore the artistic aspect of it, much like this guy has..... Kudos for such a brilliantly done video!
That give is awesome. The slingshot is amazing. I'm old and have seen and had many wrist rockets, bows, crossbow etc. The barrel allows for great speed and an increase in kinetic energy. Love your workmanship, materials and overall a great production.
