Although I often mock the failure of 3D (both in films and comic books), I do have to admit that there was one movie I saw playing in a Boxmart that actually sorta looked 3D: Hugo.
Hugo is an amazing movie. So many slept on it because the said the original cover art made them think it was a children's movie. It's a love letter to film and I love that the new 4K got people to give it a look. I haven't seen it in 3D though. I'll have to check into that. Thanks for watching. 🙂

There were a few movies in your recommendations I wanted to get that I don’t have already. I have An American Werewolf In London as well as Robocop and those are excellent 4Ks! I have the Ronin Blu-Ray but want the Kino 4K. Funds are tight so I have to be selective. I just pre ordered the Hellraiser 4K box set from Diabolik because I missed out on the first set. I will probably have to sit this sale out. 😞 I would also recommend The Last Starfighter from Arrow, great movie and a nice looking 4K.

I pre ordered Conan Chronicles 4K on B&N (it’s the best price I’ve seen for it) and I got True Romance limited edition deluxe Steelbook 4K (I’ve never seen it, but it’s directed by Tony Scott and he has more hits than misses in my book) I don’t normally go for the limited editions or Steelbooks but at these prices why not. I also got Southland Tales from Arrow’s website which has it on sale at the moment for $5; all I know about it is that it’s supposed to be weird, and for five bucks that’s good enough for me.😁

Is there a big difference between the Arrow video Witness 4k vs the Blu-ray version? The 4k version is out of stock but my local B&N still has the Blu-ray version.
Hi friend. Is it a new Blu-ray edition or the original? If it's the original, I'd say there's as nice uptick in quality of both picture and sound. I hadn't seen the movie in some time but it was definitely a gorgeous release. Hopefully it gets back in stock soon. I see things have been coming back to the site as available the Matt few days. @@MovieChatter01 Thank you for the heads up on the sale. Since they go off of 50% the suggested price of say $50, which we never see, it like $30 at DiabolikDVD, and then $25 now for the sale. Not huge difference but I guess adds up, but not enough to mess with. ( I used Witness Blu-ray as a price check btw for that). All companies do that though, as far as a huge suggested price we never see them sell for, but if they do a sale. Severin, and Vinegar Syndrome. They do as well. So I should not be surprised to see.
Arrow is a UK company but they also release US editions of many of the titles they have on their label. The 4K discs are Region free and any releases you get through Barnes & Noble should be US releases, which would mean the Blu-ray discs would be Region A. I hope this helps. 🙂
