Fantastic Views of Wirral there. Is the exam hard to pass to get the Drone licence? And if you fail is there a waiting list like a month as happens when Driving? Is the exams all online or do you have to go to a exam centre for a Drone Licence? When you bought your Drones did you buy them from Argos or Currys? That's all the questions i had for you today. Hope you all good 👍
Hi . Did you read the message I sent you on the previous chat , I continued from yesterday . If you could read that, it is just a bit of advise from me after nearly 2 years of flying, about the model of drone to buy. But only meant as a suggestion. The flying ID “Test” Only applies if you want to fly a drone over 250g like the air 2. it is done in a way that you can’t fail, if you are capable of flying a drone you will be able to pass. I don’t think for one moment you would have a problem. What I mean’t about the theory test is, it similar in Idea only to a driving theory test , you read the safety information first, that is provided, it has all the legislation etc, then you do a very very short online test, if you fail it you retake it until you pass. It’s purpose is more to get you to understand the SAFETY side of flying a drone. You can even have the test page set up on one device and have the safety info on another, you can’t fail.. My first drone came from VERY, the bank of wife paid each month for it, it came with one year of care refresh. then recently I saved xmas and birthday cash and bank of wife added to it so I could buy the mini 2 from Amazon.co.uk with 2 years care refresh. I am now starting to save for a Mini 4 Pro, it’s not out yet, probably in 6 months but I will get it in a year. You have to shop around online and write down prices. Spare Batteries for the Air 2 are usually £89 each, buy a drone with a fly more accessory set. CARE REFRESH AND DRONE INSURANCE. When you buy a DJI drone they offer you a type of insurance called care refresh, it covers for your drone flying away and disappearing, you add a chunk of money excess and they replace your drone, I think there is a accidental damage coverage with it, both my drones and an action camera are covered, I renewed my air 2 cover a while back, but will expire soon, But, other youtubers are talking about alternative insurance being better and cheaper, they mentioned a company called COVERDRONE , ( I am not affiliated or paid to mention them) They do insurance for drones and insurance for if you crash your drone into a building and damage it, they charge less for replacement drones apparently, I will be looking at getting a quote. Did you know there is an Air 3 out? if you definitely want the bigger size then the air 3 is better than the more expensive mavic classic, air three has front, side, and underneath obstacle sensors , air 2 is front, back and underneath. If you can find that other message I wrote earlier, it may be helpful. 👍
THIS IS FROM THE OTHER CHAT BUT DISAPPEARED. In the mean time, it might just be worth you searching for; DJI Mini 3 pro wind test on youtube. You may be surprised how powerful this drone is. Look on the videos from youtubers, like DC Rainmaker, windswept Robert, and others. Do your research on mini 3 pro and the Air 2 before you decide the best drone for you. I found that the only limitation with the air 2 was UK law, The law hampers where you can use the Mavic Air 2 drone, you can't fly near civilisation , near enough to a lot of locations like castles. The CAA are too strict. That's why I had the extra cost of a mini 2, but like I mentioned, if I was to start again from scratch, after watching all the videos on the mini 3 pro, I would just buy that, it's powerful and has a better camera, and I could launch it from a footpath next to a road even, and fly over anything, my videos weren't originally going to have in town content when I chose my Mavic air 2, and I didn't research enough about the mini series. It's worth doing your research on both drones yourself, then if air 2 is best for you, then you know you have based your decision on your own research and video / channel needs, but mainly look at other peoples reviews first.
@@autisticdrone. Yes that is so true i will need the right drone for for the best of the channel needs when i am off work in a few weeks i will do some better research but just not got the time to do that right now 🙈Thank You for the advice.
Hi. not long back from Llangollen with my son, I had to use the mini 2 drone over the town also the aqueduct which had roads near to the launch field, and old overgrown football field, also with flying over it the aqueduct, so just in case of legal issues if police come for a look, at least there can be no grumbling about a mini drone.
@@autisticdrone. Llangollen is so nice i cannot wait to see your video of Llangollen Castell Dinas Bran would get you a whole load of views on your channel with a Drone Moel Famau to!
