I am soooooo lucky to have found this old crop duster runway it's 3.3 miles from my front door it's not just the runway there is so much open space with nothing in the way, this would not be possible without asking permission and taking the time because all they can do is say no so you keep searching and asking for permission and sometimes you hit the lottery of all the places so close to home. Yeah, I usually don’t worry about it though because my local club owns its own runway. It’s really cool. It’s like an entire airport.
