an interesting revalation just like what Boco once said that Diesels are not exempt from being scrapped just like Steam engines aint either. As time goes on the same fate will happen to Diesels they too will be replace by Electric Steam Engine Locomotives thru a process known as Elecrifacation.

This was a fantastic adaptation. Arry really did had to find out the truth the hard way and it’s really horrifying to think about in this point of view, if I were him I’d get outta there too and I did not expect sandy to be here either. And the credits were very disturbing, hearing their screams of help is… haunting in a way

anyone else notice, that the random steam engine at the end, that 'Arry passes in the station, (Victorion or something) has a very unusual and out of place old fashioned looking Coach, at the front of the train, when it leaves the station. this gives me chills, as I've seen youtube videos of... "The wondering coach"

I'm surprised that there's a Class 66 on the scrapline, as they're the modern workhorses of all the freight companies.

Still love the idea of a combiner transforms into a train.

now this, was an epic adaptation from one of the tales of the scrapyards audio stories aside from the wandering coach, you did an excellent job on this adaptation along with using the ironworks route i've made last year and for the north western 3D website too. anyway, nice job on this adaptation of arry learns the truth brad. 🙂👌

I really hope Carson does a version of this. Never have I felt more sorry for diesels than this story.

Victorion? She's not cherry red and teal, nor is she made of a fire truck, two cars, two helicopters and a motorbike... EDIT: But she DOES have the Autobot emblem on her tender...

Definitely one of my favorites from this series, and how you handled it was amazing! Also it was great to see Hammond and Victorion again.

Great work. Would like to see Diesel 10 witness his fellow 42 classes being in a siding waiting to be scrapped. That would be one make him change perspective on steam and Diesels below him. If Diesel 10 no longer became a villan, a newer and more powerful Diesel let's say a class 66 with a larger claw could be Sodors next worst nightmare. Once again, fantastic job!

This was an amazing adaption to watch and its nice to see other adaptions get alot of likes and watched more except the fan favourite wandering coach and keep up the good work

He would soon find out about them anyway. 11:17 He stopped for a rest at the platform at Vicarstown. 11:31 He was panting, traumatized, and out of breath. And then, he heard a familiar whistle. 11:38 He looked to his right. It was Victorion, the Autobot engine. Victorion: 11:46 Arry? What's wrong? Narrator: She asked. 11:49 Arry simply looked away.

Great job on this! Why were Arry and Bert back at the Vicarstown scrapyards though? Were they debating what diesel to rescue? Also I would've made the two mainline diesels Old Stuck Up and Spamcan as in real life they're probably dead. I presume this story was set around 1980-1990?

Arry needs to remember that if it weren't for the steam engines they wouldn't exist. Also, he forgets that they'll always be better, faster, and stronger engines that will replace their sorry (bunker) someday. Better get use to working with steam engines as well as his kind if their to survive.

The best thing about this history, is that it is absolutely real. Steam engines are precious, loved machines. More and more get restored and preserved every year. Then diesels get scrapped and new modern ones get built.

I like this story. It give Arry a taste of his own medicine, and sobers him up to the truth that time marchs on with or without you, and eventually, it'll be without you. In those final moments, Arry looking at the Steamengine...fantastic irony.

I’m surprised none of the diesels from the official series acknowledged that diesels get scrapped too, not just steam engines. ‘Arry and Bert seemed to have learned the truth about Mainland diesels. What about the other bad diesels of Sodor such as Diesel and Diesel 10? And I bet some of the bad Mainland diesels that have visited Sodor , such as 261, 40125, and 199, have been scrapped, because 261’s (Bowler/Class 40) real life number basis has been scrapped, same with 40125(Old Stuck-Up who is also a Class 40), his real life number basis has been scrapped too. 199(Spamcan) however is a Class 46, and none real Class 46’s had this number as they only went from D138-D193 then later became 46 001-45 056. So 199’s fate is unknown. On July 17th, 1984, Class 46 no. 46 009(formerly D146), was withdrawn from service and used for a nuclear flask test.

Good camerawork, but the OC with that Autobot tender, coupled with those coaches and those silly meme voice clips thrown in, felt immersion-breaking. I'd say Sandy as well, but I guess since she was due to be scrapped, it was fine.
