I thought Arteta's game management and game-plan in that second half was perfect, yes Arsenal conceded late but they played with 10 men for 45 minutes up against their Premier League title rivals away from home.
@findingaether Findingexcusesforfailure back again adter the bottlers bottle it again Mourinho would of retired out of the shame if he won no trophies for 4 years after speding £700m Yet small club Arsenal reward Arteta with a new 3 year contract for doing it 😅 Different gravy orphan boy, different gravy. ..
@@cluckingbell1772 key passes make sense when your team isn’t backed towards the goal against a city side when down to 10 men…. That too unfairly…. So you have shown your intelligence level with this comment and you deserve a trip to a psychiatrist. You can go and suck off pep if you want but you know that your team is gonna get railed against city with 10 men.
Doku kicks the ball away after the whistle, Oliver ignored it, but Trossard gets a second yellow? Oliver needs to be ashamed of his inept display today. I get the letter of the law thing, but where is the consistency?
Rodri talking about mentality. City fans celebrating a draw against 10 man arsenal meanwhile arsenal fans disappointed about giving away last minute goal and not winning the game.
@@nijaethompson7647the arguement from walker is just wrong for the first but anyway, I’m just curious, why should the second one not be given - I didn’t realise you lot were complaing about that. Also saying he was in our pocket is ridiculous. The red card was retarded and not consistent considering Doku and Silva kicking the ball away. And you can’t lie and say the Trossard sending off didn’t change the tides
The same ref last season had 4 chances to give Kovacic a second yellow but took non. But today his hands were itching to send off an Arsenal player at the first chance of asking
Howard Webb said last year that Oliver didn't send off kovavic at the Emirates last season because he didn't want to ruin the game lets see what the excuse will be this time round
Obviously "kicking the ball away" (spoiler, Trossard was trying to send the ball to Martinelli to start a counter at the moment Oliver blew the whistle, he didn't even have second and a half to react) is worse for the game than tackles from behind in the ankles, who cares about players well being
These refs are killing football as we know it, i remember football back in the day things were let go and games were better, refs are carding people n sending people off like its going outa fashion, its ridiculous. LET THE GAME PLAY
Its great hearing a fan of a rival club give an unbiased opinion on a game. Hearing some city fans after this game made me question humanity. Thanks Henry, good stuff
Somebody needs to check Michael Oliver's bank balance.. that's some next level corrupt refereeing... Needs to be investigated, especially if the 115 team is involved..
Could see how very relieved City players and staff were to get an equalizer in that game, which shows how goid Arsenal were today, especially going down to 10 men.. I would have sttled for that away point before today, but infact i am a bit dissappointed aswell because we deserved to win it. However well done Lads 👏👏
English refs are either corrupt 😒 or incompetent. How come every Arsenal game they spoil the matches with silly yellow cards yet in the same match they let the opposition get away 🤔 with yellow cards. 😢😢😢spoiling a beautiful game
@@spurs4life-xc7ho Exactly the Spursey comment expected.. Best team in league dominate a team down to 10 men..🤣 Typical trophy drought Spud supporters..😜🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolute Cheat, Michael Oliver would have atleast 50K pounds for this game pretty sure. Bloody Mother Ducker... Hope he pays for his Sins this year itself...
City had the ref in their pockets today, the number of challenges that went their way plus the one sided approach to kicking the ball away is ridiculous. Twice we've had players sent off for this stupid rule which is ignored when the opposition blatantly infringe. The game is turning slapstick. What happened to giving a warning and a free kick. No everything is now a card. Two teams start with eleven men and the ref's do their level best to remove as many players from the field by the final whistle as possible. Absolute nonsense and VAR is still a waste of time.
To all the other teams …. It’s all banter till this kind of refereeing decisions comes towards the club near you…. Epl is fucked when the quality of football is so elite and when refereeing is such dog shit
@@cluckingbell1772Do you go over and troll Liverpool for bottling the league for five of the six years they challenged and failed despite having a CL winning team?
As an Arsenal fan, it personally feels like a loss as we fought so hard to get back in the game and then to hold on right to the end! Another 2 minutes holding on and it would have been a historic win, so I feel deflated
@@nijaethompson7647mate, we had the ref on our side? What more can I expect from a man city fan? (who is a glory hunter and did not watch the match presuming that city will win the match).
Of all the youtubers I feel you have the best summation of the match. This year I detect a steeliness in Arsenal and a City that looks beatable. Wonderful all hands to the pumps Arsenal mindset displayed in tis game
This means a lot coming from a Spurs supporter. I just always have to say the consistency is the main issue. Call it for one call it all. It’s fine because it happens to Arsenal, but when it’s your team it could have been avoided if everyone demands better officiating.
I got a white shite lane fan trying to troll me lmao. Saying were shite n crap, where are u in the table ohh wait 10th and only brat coventry in last 5mins. You just cant make it up

Kovacic last year comitted two red cards and wasn't given them by Oliver. Oliver said after the match that he didn't want to ruin the game as it's one of the biggest. So what was his thinking today with Trossard? Why didn't he give a yellow to Doku earlier for kicking the ball. Seven times Oliver has cheated teams in matches against City in the last two years with big questionable calls.
Let's let the game go on for just long enough for city to score. I was admittedly gutted when we conceeded. Still proud of the boys though, 45 minutes with 10 men against man city.
People are just gonna joke about us parking the bus being bottlejobs etc, considering it was 12v10 and we got them celebrating a draw at home to 10 men like mad, I’m proud of the boys today.
@@weirdoproductions6714 i dont think even real madrid get a draw under these circumstances, they were battered by city in both legs last season with 11 men. Proud of the boys, if only we could just have cleared that corner and held on for one more minute!
Jesus was also booked for kicking the ball away, so two Gunners booked for the same thing Doku did and he’s not booked. The 2nd yellow for Trossard was his own fault, he’s got to be smarter than that. He ran into the guy unnecessarily. That said, great 2nd half show of strength and determination by Arsenal. Of course I wish they got all three points but it was a statement performance. With a fully fit squad they’re going to deep and very tough to beat.
@@spurs4life-xc7ho you couldn’t even win against an arsenal without odegaard and rice so just shut your trap…. Vasectomy football …… all that possession and still shooting blanks…… you should just accept the fact that Arsenal went to your toilet bowl stadium and took a massive shit and didn’t even bother to flush
As a brighton fan, it amuses me how no one is seeing the irony with bernardo's comments. Of course they preferred the way Liverpool played against them because it's an easier style for them to play against. When Liverpool went down to 10 men against them and tried to attack they lost 5-0, but its okay because Man city's moral compass was satisfied. Amazes me how Liverpool fans actually think he's gassing them up and be like "Yeah that's right! We we're such good competitors to the City team that beat us 6/7 times to the title because we played the way they wanted us to play". Like anyone sits here and goes "to be fair, credit to Liverpool for attacking city with 10 men" In 20 years time no one will be talking about how much gusto Liverpool had for attacking City in the matches they played, they'll remember that City won 6 titles and Liverpool won 1 the same way people remember Blackburn rovers winning 1 title during United's dominance
@@felixkahiiko4219 I’m not advocating for it but there comes a time where it may very well occur by a fan who took things too far. Many would probably iterate that they had it coming…
Sky Sports asked Opta how long the ball was in play in the second half, of course to build the narrative that Arsenal's "time-wasting" backfired, but according to Opta the ball was in play for 35 minutes in that half, which is around 7 minutes *more* than an average PL match. So after just a bit more than half of the normal amount of "time wasted", most of it due to cramps after playing 3 intense away matches in a week, the PGMOL saw fit to add on 7 minutes, and Oliver piled on an additional two until right after City scored. Fergie time is so back.
Rodri's mentality comments lit the fire. Arteta probably played that interview to our players. Lets see if Rodri has the mentality to come back stronger after his injury and how he copes at the Emirates. Last 4 games, City haven't managed to beat Arsenal. Who's got the weak mentality. Guardiola celebrating with City players and fans after a lucky draw against 10 men. That smile he had when the whistle was blown then he went to a pretentious humble face when he shook hands with Arteta. Mikel walked off with a wry smile because he knew he was so close to winning with 10 men. This game really shook Man City and their fans. You can see signs of doubt creeping in, with the weight of reality to how strong Arsenal have become. This is Arsenal's title. City are done! We saw the same look in Liverpool after they lost to Man Utd in the FA Cup. City and Guardiola are RATTLED!
The legaue hasn't been fair since city started getting a squad together , i mean buying everyone. Ironically then it was all arsenals players rolls 🙄 115 , we're not even talking about ref influence/curruption
With the injuries I was feeling pretty dejected about our season. But we are now through Villa away, spurs away, city away with 7/9 points. City are winless against us in 4 games now. Rival fans can cry about how we played, but it's evident they aren't watching us week in week out, they just miss the easy 3 points and soft touch Arsenal. Now 2 points behind with 33 games, it's all to play for, and the players have fire in their soul after that disgrace from the officials. Watching city celebrate a draw vs 10 men at home was an interesting irony after the way our draw was discussed last year. Not sure where the added time came from in the first place, the ball was in play the most it had been in any half of football this year, to then add the extra two when we had players going down left and right with cramp. Everyone acting like defending city for almost 55minutes with 10 men is some easy task. We played away to Atalanta mid week with one less day rest to, which we already had one less day rest after spurs away to. All context that rivals are drooling over ignoring. I hope we make this league suffer.
It's funny isn't it - don't remember one of these bad referee decisions going against Man City in recent memory. Didn't send Kovacic off last season as he 'didn't want to ruin the game' - yet ruins this one for no reason because it was an Arsenal player. It's not even being hidden any more.
I believe, second yellow, means Red Card is unfair rule. In Rugby, in such conditions referre / umpire sends player to the bench for about 15 mins, this rule should adopted. I agree Trossard should behave responsible, however it seems too harsh to send off a player at the 45th min because he time wasted, that poor decision by referee wrecked the game, quality of game thrown out of window. People in the stadium and in front of the TV paid a lot of money to watch an entertaining game, certainly not to watch 9 players, lined 1-5-4, locked in their 18 yard box, who couldn't do anything else but keep kicking the ball half way line, where there were no players or kicked the ball out to the spectators. No body comes to stadiums to watch such a game or pay subscription to pay TVs and feel frustrated. I hope FIFA and other rule makers soon realise that football is primarily for entertainment, not for punishment, making teams play with less man, simply because in the tense atmosphere of the game a player kicked the ball, delaying the resumption of the game. Unless there is a dangerous act, Red Card should not be used at all, so I suggest, soon FIFA introduces suspension for 15 mins to the player involved.
Doku kicked the ball away time wasting no yellow card. Trosard does gets a second yellow card 🙄. Refs have an agenda against arsenal for some reason 🤔 Pedro's doesn't get a yellow card Declan rice straight away. Refs should be ashamed for spoiling premier league.
This result stings after that late equalizer but I’m very proud of them. The result was a draw but man city losing rodri and it looks like he might out for a while. Speedy recovery for him but man city losing rodri is gonna be a huge blow for them.
Rodri tried to get Havertz sent off within seconds of the kick off. He rolled around and whimpered like he got shot with a Canon, well he got his wish didn't he? It now appears they all planned to get an Arsenal player sent off and with their 12th team mate it wouldn't be impossible. Sadly for them, Arsenal is not going anywhere for a long, long time! Michael Oliver belongs in jail!!
@@iniobongudofia6816Arsenal should've had no more than 6 players on the pitch. Glad Haaland bodied Partey the same way, wish he injured him from it and concussed Gabriel with the ball. Enjoy bottling the league again. 😂🫵
What would you say of Chelsea 2011/12 l. Chelsea with 10 men from first half turned a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona into a 2-3 win in the UCL FINAL AGAINST PEP.
Michael Oliver didn't referee the bottlers games last season when they got battered by Villa, West Ham & the mighty Fulham twice, spanked by Newcastle and Liverpools kids and embarrassed by the worse Munich side in 20 years and won fcuk all again diickhead Excuses FC
For some reason these referring inconsistency is consistent against Arsenal regarding delaying. Sure, having Trossard stay still wont guarantee Arsenal's win but, hell, it would be a better 2nd half for us spectators, especially neutrals. PGMOL really are ruining football for us. Arsenal's scheduling also kinda rubbish. So in the end, with their main captain out, -1 player since the first half, and having to cramp all of those matches within 2 weeks, I'd say they were a much better team. City's not being their usual self. If it's not because of the last seconds corner overload 11 vs 10, they would've lost to a heavily crippled team. They should be embarrassed but for some reason, their fans celebrated like they've won. Also, Bernardo Silva's comment about their mentality was simply wrong, and Haaland's attitude after the equalizer was very, very immature. I think they're panicking and Pep should look into this.
When decisions like this again and again and again deliberately given against the arsenal, I think every game they have to prepare the game against 12 men to win the league. But yeah Artera men don’t care much they will surely snatch the title from the references if the maintenan this mentality.
