He helped Napoli win the league after many years when they were not even close favorites. He's the striker I would prescribe for either Chelsea or Arsenal because he has the experience for what they want to do.

I am confident Arsenal are going to win the League and Arteta will do it in ledendary "Invincibles" way. I'm not crazy. Every team in the EPL could easily concede a pre-season goal to the likes of Celtic with Brendan Rodgers, Mancity with Pep, Real Madrid with Ancelotti. There are teams Chelsea could have beaten 10-0 or win with a clean sheet like Club America, but this preparation somehow happens to be the best for Chelsea because the league fixtures has come out and they will be playing Mancity in the first game. To every other team its the worst possible start but to Chelsea it is just another league Champion and the system was being tuned to play against league Champions all pre-season.

Lukaku lost form at Chelsea but he would have still given a decent goal return if he had not done that interview and completely removed himself from the first team. Osimen and Lukaku can play in the same team because they are very different. Oshimen is more energetic, a good presser and fighter and superior aerially while he also loves leading the line like Drogba. Lukaku on the other hand was forced to lead the line with a gun to his head by Conte - he came to Chelsea and didn't want to play that way in the EPL.

A Chelsea fan who highly rates de Light who couldn't start ahead of Dier and doesn't rate Fofana and Colwill who have actually looked good in the EPL before. Surely they all have to be on the same level of expectation.

They usually forget that Liverpool have been competing toe to toe with Mancity since like forever. They don't understand what an immortal team looks like. The fact that City dropped off last season and still won the league and the fact that Pep may be nearing his end at Mancity firmly makes Mancity the favorites.

The only reason City and Arsenal are put up there is because of Peps ideas which is very effective in the EPL. It only makes logical sense to smell Chelsea also cementing their place up there. Chelsea may even have the best quad in the EPL right now and Mudryk could already be one of the best players but just needs the right manager to manifest everything. Spending a billion pound and going after players top teams want is never a bad thing - in fact it could be class.

Chelsea are not much of a unknown just like Arsenal were really not much of a unknown and just like Bayer Leverkusen were never really much of a unknown. At the core is Pep Guardiola's principles and ideas. Who saw what it did in the Bundesliga last seasonn with Bayern Leverkusen and if you ever wondered why Bayern have hired Vincent Kompany now. We saw it with Maresca last season how he won the second biggest league in England with Leicester and announced himself to the world. Depending on the similarities and intensity of the Championship to the EPL, we could see Maresca adapt really fast to the EPL. He was also at City with the treble winning team and ideas and Chelsea look like they are ready to break into top 4 with any manager and a world class striker. It is a no brainer to not see Chelsea up there. Personally I think Chelsea's combined attacking unit could match City's.. Having a good shot stopper to reduce the risk of counter attacks plus the fact that they will be keeping the ball most times with really good ball playing defenders and goal keeper and then that attacking unit only smells of a title charge. They league can't handle Peps ideas and principles over a full season. They said he wouldn't make it in the EPL and now they are betting against him winning the fifth title in a row.

I think Chelsea signing Oshimen could push them to win the league if Maresca could adapt to the EPL like he did the championship. The firepower of Chelsea is just too much. - any manager who is actually good should do very well at Chelsea.

Phil Foden played 10+ games more than Saka did and about 500 more minutes than him last season. Man City don't rest Ederson, Gvardiol, Walker, Rodri, KDB, Foden, Bernardo or Haaland. If it's an important game and they're fit they will play. People always compare Saka to Rooney, he's only just 38 and looks 50, he always looked semi-overweight. I don't think it's a fair comparison. Sterling is a little more fair but Sterling was more reliant on pace and his inconsistent finishing that plagued him throughout his career. He's a different player to Saka and I think Saka is more similar to Salah in the sense he has far more to his game and as he gets older he will adapt. Also I never see this shit said about Bellingham or Ødegaard who have been consistent starters since they were 15.

The transformation in the ManU fan base is miraculous, Terry, Saeed, Goldbridge all saying top 4, when all I can see is you've signed an average, not in a bad way but a real way, CB in de ligt, Mazraoui, who looks lightweight and has nowhere near the defensive stats of AWB and even if he is a decent attacking FB won't see much of the ball as the ManU wingers hog it and go for glory. Yorro who tbf I know nothing about but as someone said how many 18yr old CB's are commanding in the prem, and Zirkzee who looks like he is going to be replaced by a false 9 midfielder despite the Rasmus injury. As a Arsenal fan I hope we do not sign Osimhen or Toney. Osimhen is injury prone and inconsistent and has been playing in a awful Italian league. Toney is 29 and had a really poor return last season and seems to have too much of an ego for his limited ability. I would prefer to spend the money in other areas.
