Honestly as great as the performance was there were some terrible areas - Havertz missing two easy passes where he could have created certain goals, some uncertain moments at the back from our defence, Martinelli & Jesus seemed nervous in front of goal. No disrespect to Chelsea, but we took the hardest chances and missed the easiest and most intentional, if we'd missed the harder finishes it could have been very tight - we might not be as lucky with better teams

Everybody has seen Odegaard's talent since he was 16 and playing Norweigan league and scoring for their national team. Arsene Wenger was desperate to sign him back then. What Arteta and Edu did was to believe in him with such a key role even after he didn't get a proper chance in 6 years in Real under Zidane and convince him to trust in a new Arsenal project.

Odegaard is a different level of talent and profile. Gallagher is more of a work horse, be there to be part of build up, cover passing lanes, cover opposing attacking players. He's not an initiator, a controller of tempo, a game manager. That's Odegaard and Gallagher is not that type of profile. It's unfair to expect that of him or compare him to a prodigy that had the eyes of Madrid at 15.

why cant we play like this in europe, i know it a process and Arteta is our man but in big games our lack of a class true 9 really shows as much as i love saka in big european games especially in the Bayern series his lack of confidence and experience makes him ghost, martinelli hasnt been able to take the next step like we wanted this season and as much as i rate Jesus there is only so much we can do by running a false 9 when our wingers arent elite finishers. Ben White is calmer infront of goal than Gabriel Jesus. Chelsea looked like a team without a coach and they even had more possession. They lacked knowledge of the basics.

Yes it was a Win... but what an an awful performance. Let's get real; finishing was horrendous in the first half. Chelsea could also have gone ahead in the first half. As good sometimes "brilliant" Odegaard can be, his passing was scratchy, lacked consistency. Yes Arsenal gave the ball away toomany times.
