Anyone slagging off Rice should think again. That second yellow was plain malicious from the ref Rice hardly touched the ball and got kicked hard in temper by the Brighton player which should have been a straight red. Although up the other end whilst watching it live I was convinced it was a straight red for the Brighton player!
Disagree Dazza, Rice was stupid, doesnt matter how soft it was, he kicked the ball away. its a yellow. hes already booked, dont give the ref a decision to make!
You can’t kick the ball away to prevent a free kick then proceed to actively try have someone else sent off whilst already being on a yellow card and then cry when you get sent off
@@Ryan-mg1nw whose crying? Were you at the game if you were then you’d know what I’m talking about. Where was the red card for violent conduct for Brighton player ? The refs was getting everything wrong late in the second half he booked a Brighton player when Partey conceded a free kick outside our box and was on a second yellow. It was a clown show? I’m a massive Arteta out but fair is fair the ref comes from MANCHESTER? Most of them do wake up.
@@alid8646 I don’t think he did kick the ball away. The ball was in front of him and it moved inches if he’s getting booked for that it’s pure madness. I know by the letter of the law the ref can do it but do you see City player s get sent off for this kind of nonesense?
