The fans clapping for Saliba after the own goal said it all for me, the fans are behind this group. Great win, the score line could’ve been much higher. COYG!
Gabriel Jesus has been amazing for Arsenal. He's merged quickly into this Arsenal side, playing magnificently. Arsenal, by the looks of it, have a good season ahead of them.
Many people don't realize that Jesus arrived at Man City in 2017, the year they began their run of glory (which many attribute to Pep, but Jesus' locker room presence should not be undervalued by astute observers)
He's certainly an awesome guy to have on your team, but he's not someone you want to *have* to rely on for 38 games. Vieira gives Arsenal an excellent alternative.
He's got all the qualities I want in a midfielder, it's just his decision making let's him down sometimes. But genuinely, things you can coach, he's got that in abundance. Confidence, toughness, leadership, bounceback ability after a mistake. He's just gotta chill out with some tackles.
@@adir3025 nah, did you watch the City game bro? I am Arsenal fan but we should be realistic with this current team, the City is too strong for us now.
I love how the Arsenal Fans applauded Saliba when he scored an own knowinng that if that ball goes beyond him to Vardy it is a goal, best fans in the PL
This is a sarcastic comment right? Half of the Arsenal fans couldn't see Arsenal ever playing well under Arteta because they liked the Aubamayang's, Ozil's and Mustafi's. They only applauded Saliba because they like him. Everyone's happy now but it takes just one loss against a Fulham or Bournemouth and that half would be out again.
@@MNM14 You outed yourself, my dude. Nobody liked Mustafi. He used to be clapped and cheered ironically because everyone knew he was one of the worst players we'd seen in awhile.
I’m so glad we got Jesus, he’s the type of striker we’ve been missing . I also love how we responded immediately after conceding on 2 occasions. We look really good going forward 🔥
@@May16Joe Spot on. But Arteta played under Wenger so he incorporates his ideas into the current side. You can see it with the one touch play and quick switch of play
The chemistry and youth of this Arsenal squad is crazy. Top four finish this year and if they improve even further then they'll definitely compete with City and Liverpool next season.
@@rmwill_ yeah no. Liverpool and City had to suffer before they could contend. We can't even make top 4. Let's worry about that before thinking about a fucking title
Arsenal has one of the best if not #2 best defense in the Prem rn. For the first time in maybe 10 years, they have depth at the back and firepower upfront at the same time. It’s always been one or the other but never both.
the defense, while pretty young, has a lot of talent and a lot of depth. Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Tierney, and the center backs in Saliba, Gabriel, and White are absolutely solid
This is the first time in years I've genuinely had hope for Arsenal. Arteta finally looks like the Pep apprentice he was marketed to us as, the squad is who he wants, the link up play looks like City, and holy crap it's fun to watch
@@HsenagNarawseramap It was a joke bruh chill. Arsenal are good but they’ll never be City. Try getting top 4 for a few seasons then maybe compete for the title. Still 3/4 years off.
@@Glock.12 My bad! I was too focused on the attacking side of Arsenal. These Brazilians are really FIRE! Probably, Brazil will end up winning this World Cup.
Love how Xhaka celebrate the goal, after what happened between him and the fan. I'm glad he is still a gunner and he had really good game today as well.
What I think said the most about him is how all he did was grimace and get back to his spot. Fans applauded, Ramsdale patted him on the back, and he went right back to being a stone wall. Immense mentality, and good on the fans for their support.
It was a learning moment... A humbling moment would be him trying to do something unnecessary and failing. He was actually making the right play but didn't angle his head properly.
Watching All or Nothing with this makes every win seem even more important. Jesus adds so much to this team and a real attacking threat that is just what we need to really solidify a top four spot again. Great performance!
This game epitomized what Arteta preaches in All or Nothing: when your teammate makes a mistake it’s up to the rest of the team to pick them up. Saliba mistake, Xhaka goal. Ramsdale mistake, Martinelli goal. Very happy with the club.
3:37 Thats a great save by Ramsdale! That cross is going straight to Timeberlake, also happy VAR actually looked at the pen replay, very good decision.
So happy for Gabby J. Loved every second of him at City and miss him dearly. Always thought his level would sky rocket with consistent games, trust, and a good system for him. Genuinely believe his skill ceiling is near limitless. So happy he and Zinny are fitting in at Artetas tricky gunners.
I love watching the Premier League. I always support different teams based on the Brazilian players on the squad. I used to watch a lot of Everton games because of Richarlison, Man City because of Jesus, Robinho, and Ederson. Chelsea when they had Oscar. Leeds last season because of Raphinha. Liverpool because of Firmino, Fabinho, Allison, and Coutinho... And this Arsenal is so far my favorite team to watch every weekend. I love the atmosphere of the Emirates and how the team is playing as a team, lovely to watch. I hope this season they get the top 4. By the way, this new Arsenal jersey is beautiful, and I will get one soon. I hope one day I can go to an Arsenal game in London.
Gabriel Jesus was the ammunition the Gunner's needed... The Gunners were firing a lot of blanks in the beginning of last season... This year looks like the opposite... Gabriel Jesus has given them a confidence and swagger they were missing...
Everyone is talking about Saliba keeping his head in the game but honestly so did Ward. When you're being put under that much pressure for ninety minutes, you're bound to make at least one mistake. But that ball to Maddison afterward to basically fashion a chance out of nothing was exquisite.
Boy, Arsenal are so fun to watch again. Reminds of the old Wenger Arsenal I used to love watching. Great one touch passing plays and Jesus has been a brilliant addition.
Arsenal took years insisting in expensive and uneffective overrated french players, now they have a Brazilian backbone of top players ready to take this team to the top level.
As an arsenal fan Its hard to get excited for the season because every year we have an amazing run followed by championship level performances in the other half of the season.
It's really great to see G. Jesus blossom. He's always been good, but it's nice to see him freed of the rigid City system. He's going to be a revelation (no pun intended)
