Kary Babii he didn't get there because he kept his integrity. Wesley is a man that took MJ and Prince's route of caution in the entertainment industry but in theatre not music. In layman's terms Snipes is smart.
MindYa B some roles and this is just my opinion he should have taken were Satan in End Of Days(1999) Monteney in Exit Wounds(2001) & Desolation Williams in John Carpenter's Ghosts Of Mars
You sound like Joe Biden describing Obama. "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man.”
I really liked Snipes in Jungle Fever and Mo-Betta Blues. Showed the depth of his character acting skills. NJC was an evil super villain grounded on reality (Nicky Barnes caricature for all you fools thinking it was Frank Lucas psst, that was Denzel.) He had several movies alongside Woody Harrelson which they had great chemistry, liked those. Haven't seen anything recent but he's a good brother. I like Wesley Snipes.
I totally agree with you, plus he has a great personality, very funny and confident. Did you know that he is trained in almost every martial art? even Capoeira, the brazilian martial art?
yip.....Snipes is a master of all...taekwondo...brazilian jiu jitsu....shaolin kungfu....boxing...muay thai...kickboxing.....shotokan karate.....hapkido..Snipes is the man
An old head who is trained in martial arts and actual fighting in a generation where people just shoot each other because they don't know how to fistfight? that is amazing
Wesley Snipes is underrated my favorite role is on US Marshals!! The reason being is because the hotel they filmed the US Marshal at The Chicago Hilton the same place I had my family reunion at in 2004.
White Men Can't Jump, Passenger 57 and The Waterdance in '92. Then he mentions going to film Demolition Man with Sly. Wesley was on the move in the 90's.
Good point. I know... Yeah we all as one, that's why I love us. Light skin, Brown Skin, Dark Skin we all the same and we the illest people on this planet. Respect Bruh!
Now back together for Coming 2 America. You really know who your friends are. Eddie's connections all kept close and never turned on each other. btw Passenger 57 is one of the best action films.
I LOVED him in a movie (just can't remember the name right now), where he was a drug lord, trying to go straight for the love of a woman. OMG! Loved him and his sexiness in that movie!
I Remember When I 1st Watched This Movie As a Kid. Wasn’t Sure If Wesley Was Performing Those Martial Arts For Teal. When I Found Out He REALLY Knew Martial Arts I Was Thoroughly Impressed! His 1st Movie Role Showing Off His Skills!
Wesley Snipes is a legend so underrated! He was one the most exhilarating and dynamic actors of the 1990s!!! Side bar: Wesley's demeanor/persona was annoying Arsenio in this clip it appears. And they were clashing a bit. Wesley was in his bag. Arsenio was one of the top late night show hosts(and first and only black one at the time). Both men were at the height of thier careers. Lil' ego/persona clash was taking place. Special moments!
New Jack City, White Men can't Jump,Blade,Passenger 57,Too Wong Foo,Hard Luck,Brooklyn's Finest,Demolition Man, Undisputed,The Art of War 1&2, Future Sport.. just to name a few PROVES WESLEY SNIPES is one if not THE BEST BLACK actors to ever Grace the Big Screen!! I proved my case now prove me WRONG!! 🍸😎🖕...
@ Isabella Early: It looks Old Fashioned because I taped this from TV in the early 90's with my VCR. (I didnt have Cable TV growing up just regular TV channels)
yeah he's been doing some shitty direct to dvd's almost as bad as seagal's, but last year he was in brooklyn's finest with some big league actors, and he blew them all away. he fuckin stole that whole movie.
Wesley Snipes...a skilled martial artist..holds black belts in shotokan karate and hapkido...also a practitioner of kungfu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, capoeira, boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and various weaponry
I find so funny that when I was a little boy I knew that there was black people of every color, but I didn´t care because to me it was the same as people of every height and weight. To me, beaut didn´t had nothing to dit with skin tone because I would fall in love with dark skin chicks or light skin ones. It wasn´t until I started to grow up and people started messing up with my head, putting crazy ideas about dark or light skin girls. We are all the same, don´t let nobody fool you.
