The Prabhas’s character is So wisely written in the Kalki movie is that it takes time to understand. Karna in Mahabharata was a hero with great potential, strong character and specially he was “ Selfless & Sincere “ but just on the wrong side of the Kurukshetra war. So Nag Ashwin designed character of Prabhas exactly opposite to what he was in the past. He is silly and most importantly SELFISH. He may made you laugh in the first half. But that is the conviction that direction had while designing the character. Nagi is a complete director. Ashad should have waited for Part 2 before the statement. I think all the answers lies in the Part 2.

Arshad Varsi is not wrong. Prabhas does not know how to act. He is an overhyped, overpayed individual. He genuinely looked like a joker in the entire movie. I watched the movie on Netflix and skipped the parts where he was there. Unnecessarily extended fight scenes took absolutely useless screen time, except for last 15 mins. I think Amitabh Bachchan's role was more powerful with his state of the art acting, even Deepika Padukone was very good. Prabhas should retire from his acting career cause he can't act. He has zero facial expressions, even when he smiles it looks artificial.
