I was captivated by the hype of Makhmudov myself just like a lot of people to be honest. Guy is a monster but in hindsight he's been technically suspect. A notable fight is the Takam one but then again I put it down to Takam being a warrior. This guy has serious power but he has no defense, very flat-footed and cannot cut the ring off at all. He just runs up on guys and relies on being a scary motherfucker. I can however see him running into a big shot in future and getting wiped out literally in the first round against a serious puncher. Didn't see Kabayel beating him though so still very much taken aback, but this is heavyweight boxing!
@@murozman It's like the old saying styles make fights. I see Makhmudov beating a number of heavy punchers like him. But he suffers against technically better and smarter fighters who also combine it with a good chin and power. These are Usyk, Parker, Kabayel type of boxers.
Same way I saw this . The takamatsu fight was a harbinger but guessed takamatsu is tough then bakole stopped him with ease. Makhmudov is good abd strong but not creative in there so for those who can stay composed with skill themselves they can beat him
On this particular night everyone was talking about Anthony Joshua and Parker but as a pure boxing fan without a bias Agit Kabayel has the best performance after being heavily underdog. He fought brilliantly executing a perfect plan against this moster of a man. You got a new fan @Australia
Makhmudov broke his hand in two places in the second 2 round. It was unfortunate as I believe in the first two rounds Makhmudov was landing heavy shots and with a broken hand it’s an uphill battle regardless of how much heart he has

Like so many talents in boxing unfortunately. Many boxers with great potential are being ignored because of the lack of promotion. Fortunately with this all going down in Saudi Arabia many talents are getting the chance to prove themselfs.
This was one of the bouts I guessed right about. They were over-hyping Mak (who's good) and dismissing Kabayel who's a very good fighter. The announcers have to feel like cheap prostitutes Announcer: OHH Look at the power of Makmudovs Iron JAw!!!! Announcer2: Makmudov continues to smash Kabayels fists with his head!!!! as it's waved off: VICTORY IN DEFEAT FOR MAKMUDOV!!! Lucky for Kabayel it was stopped early!!!!

I would like to see him vs. Martin Bakole: that should be an interesting fight. I am impressed with Kabayel and did not know about him until that fight with Makhmudov thanks to the Saudi prince. If this fight does occur, I think I will go with Kabayel. I would like to see Parker against the winner between Hrgovic and Dubois. Or I would like to see Parker against Bakole, and Kabayel against the winner of Hrgovic and Dubois. I am very grateful to the Saudi Prince for his efforts to get these great fights in such a short period of time: money talks!

What is the problem with Makhmudov's neck? In between rounds sometime he is twitching his neck 10 times. Sometimes that is related to brain function or a neurological issue. He should visit a Doctor.
