Anyone using a Mac after choosing your solid color and clicking on the right square for that layer hit "COMMAND + DELETE" (Windows: "CTRL + DELETE"?) Then for the second part after you used your pen tool to outline and select the section you want to color in hit "ALT/OPTION + DELETE". (Windows: "ALT + DELETE"!'?) And if there is some part you want to erase. you simply outline, select, then "COMMAND+ DELETE" (Windows: "CTRL + DELETE" ) READ THIS!!!!! NOTE: make sure your brushes are set to its normal setting. Opacity: 100% Size: Don't think it matters but just leave it at a normal size Brush: Regular circle hard brush I figured this out after I was trying to edit some spots I missed and it wouldn't let me do anything. Honestly I had to fuck around With this shit when I started my project and towards the end. I understand the frustration any of you are feeling right now so I hopes this helps.
the very first after choosing Solid Color.. when I click on Mask Tool it remains Skin Color .. not showing background image.. follow every step recheck everything but isn't working
Hello once again, each time I come to youtube I always reflect on this video that really helped me in doing toons, now am good at it. I can neva thank u enough. God bless you.
@@prasathraja5625 after using this video method, I Discovered new method to fill in the color ... First . You draw the desired path in the new layer with pen tool.. (remember not to select the path or press Ctrl + entr) Second. You fill the whole screen with the desired color (in the same layer) Third. Press Ctrl + Enter and the area left unselected (from previous step) , will be selected. Fourth. Use eraser and erase the selected area (from previous step) Fifth. Press Ctrl+D to unselect the shape :) Your shape is ready. Enjoy
Ok guys, I might can help some of you. On Mac laptops (Not The Desktop and Tower Version) You will need to hit the CMD + Delete button KEEP IN MIND WHILE DOING THIS YOU WILL WANT TO USE THE COMMAND BUTTON ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MAC LAPTOP
It's just a bunch of practice. My PS teacher in design school worked on the Lord Of The Rings films and even he had to take his time to be accurate with the pen tool. :O The tablet helps so much, though! :D
i just can't select the eyes the way he does it... wtf it goes crazy once i want to get the upper side of the eye !!! EDIT : found a tutorial, you need to ALT + LEFT CLICK ON THE POINT.
I KNOW THAT ! BUT WHO THE HELL IN THIS AREA KNOWS PHOTOSHOP AND IT IS ABLE TO DO THIS ,AND HAS NO FUCKING IDEA HOW TO MAKE THIS IN ILLUSTRATOR ?WHICH IS WAY MORE EASY TO USE . Adobe Illustrator is much easier and give me a break ,if you are able to learn Photoshop .Illustrator it is just a little joke.
Me. I'm using an older Imac, older intuos pen tablet, and Cs3 Paintshop. In other words, I haven't won a lotto yet. Trying to find proper settings and methods in PS to better create my caricatures.

Not sure of the model's name, but appears to be a hair model. Sorry I can't help further, but I come bearing gifts (or at least the name for an excellent replacement). If you think this model's easy on the eyes, Google Iranian model Hamid Fadaei. ;P
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Lennox Dakari thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Yeah, he played around with his custom shortcuts. CTRL + i should work if you didn't mess with the configurations since it inverts the colour in your selection. ;) -Edit: Alternatively use Shift + Backspace and fill with black.
Control + z for one mistake, control + alt + z for past several mistakes. You can also right click on the point you want to remove then select delete point, delete path if you want to delete everything you started.
yanno after the 4th play through of the background music, i just muted the video and set the playback speed to x2, and it was a 250% increase in quality.
I had the same problem , i tried to import picture then to make layer from background then to make selection first and then to add solid color and it succeeded :)
Hi, I´ve got a problem. The "ctrl + delete" isn´t working anymore, it worked in the beginning. Now only "ctrl + i" is working, but i doesn´t work as good as "crtl + delete". What can i do?
When I made the coloured layer I couldnt use Ctrl + Delete on the Layer mask Thumbnail. like Nothing happened, What can I do? UPDATE: Ctrl + i worked for me
@muhammad javed you could try to use the pen first and enter it so that you will get the frame around it, then you turn the frame around so that you just have the part framed that you want to have the color in. Then you make the color the same way as in the video afterwards and it should work aswell without both of the options (in the video or mine). And sorry for my bad English but I hope you understand
For those of you encountering this problem - look at his paint colors - its white on top, then black - so just press the mask box then hit D then X and you wont have the problem.
