really appreciate what you mentioned about buying mindfully and what you think will add value to your collection! so true about not paying mind to the pressure of hauls, i think it’s more interesting when people share things they actually like and care about rather than things they bought purely on a whim.

Artist Craftsman Supply is also here in Portland, Maine. It’s my go to and love all the choices you can find. That book looks so cool! I love book stores and can spend hours in them. It was just great watching you and your sister hanging out. I miss going to NYC more often. It’s just a major haul from Maine haha.

Whenever I hang out with a new friend, I always invite them there with me because its so fun and exciting (and i cant help but pick up a new pen every time… they also have a teeny tiny washi tape section that i cant resist lolol)

awww im sorry to hear that! we didn't always get along but im grateful that we do now!! and our feet were SO SORE after walking 17k steps on day two but I'm satisfied with all the ground we covered :)
I was so disappointed in Kinokuniya last time I was in NYC (granted that was nearly a year ago so maybe improved?). I used to love the stationery dept in the basement but it was smaller and just so tight with boxes of stock and looked a bit abandoned. Have to check out those bookstores next time.
your hair looks great ! also you flipped through the designer's dictionary of color at some point and i have it and can only recommend it, it's wonderful as inspo for color combination and it's so full of great art pieces and designs it's a really good book :)
i completely agree with your brush pen feelings!! i like the tombow fudenosuke hard tip a LOT, but the soft tip feels too much like a brush lol. also, love your thoughts on buying very intentionally, i’ve been trying to do so myself as well and hearing it from you was encouraging :-)) lots of love from oregon!!
such a cute haircut! i really like your apple pencil grip. i have one that is for an actual pencil and i squeeeeezed it into my apple pencil. i find it annoying that i have to remove it every time i want to charge my pencil. does yours have to be removed for charging too?
