This Art Journal is from 2010. My elderly mother had moved in with us and was suffering from Alzheimer' Disease. I had taken a fall to keep her from falling on the stairs and had severely injured myself -- multiple broken bones, legs and arms -- requiring surgery and significant recovery before I could walk again. I was confined to one floor of my home, and to the meager art supplies my DH could carry up for me. This was the result.
