Oh Vicky, I ALWAYS love seeing your work, it’s always so beautiful. I thank you sincerely for all that you share with us. Greetings from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Vicky. I thought waiting for my items from China took a long time you've got that beat. The boys look like they're having fun the only thing missing in their photo is bottled orange soda. I imagine them just back from fishing or throwing rocks by the railroad tracks. Oh the good ole days. Love the background as usual. When you pulled out that window I thought it looked like a belt buckle. Have a great day ...hugs from Sacramento, CA
😂 dear Kathy’s hubby … hi from the enabler! Make sure to keep Kathy full of paints, brushes and fun supplies and bring her water to keep her hydrated while she crafts!!! 😍 ❤️ Love Chicago, been there a couple of times!!!
Kathy, Welcome to the art journal world! When I first discovered Vicky’s videos I binge watched so many. Absolutely love them, I might have to go back to some agin 😉
@@vickyp I read this to him and he is still laughing at least! I love the visual - I will now find much to do with my hoards of patterned paper - you have helped me see it in a new light. So exciting! It must make you happy to know you inspire so many... my best to you!
I love it when you do vintage art journaling! It seems to never really go out of style! But also enjoy your whimsical style, it reminds me to not journal just about serious things. Thank you always for your inspiration! Hoping all is well in Greece from hot and dry Utah, U.S.A!🌵🌞
Love your piece. I find I just collect Tim’s stuff but forget to use it lol then I watch what you do and can’t wait to get into my craft room and start creating 🤗 thank you for the inspiration. We are heading into winter here in Australia so as it gets colder and rainier I get to do more crafting lol
I just love your use of blues/aquas and browns…one of my favorite color combos! I totally agree about choosing the smiling people! I remember once you drew a smile on a stamped image of a girl in your art journal…I now always do the same! 🥰 This is such an amazing layered page…I haven’t mastered your collage expertise yet, but I’m continually practicing! Always love everything you do, Vicky! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Sending hugs from Northern California!
I’m fairly new at junk journaling, but I have to tell you you have inspired me so much with this video. I like the diagonal idea very much. Also, I like your cutting up a piece of ephemera to make it look like it’s behind something you’ve already glued. That’s genius! I’m off to my crafting room to make something similar. I thank you from Texas USA! ❤️
This page is fantastic! I love that you chose to use the boys, for something different. I loved our tip about working in a diagonal. I very often get stuck on how to place things, so that's very helpful. I'm watching from hot and humid Florida, US. :)
I admire your ability to make the simple things work together so marvelous! Your tips about making tho whole mess work together are really helpful and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing. From Paris
Vicky I’m from England. I got into art journaling after watching you many years ago. You are so inspirational, I hope you never stop showing your creations xxx
OMG!!! I agree with the serious creepy faces on those chipboard people. I thought I was the only one. You made me laugh out loud!! Thanks for this tutorial.
Love this page. I guess being a Tim Holtz Addict, I am a little biased. But you put layers together so well. By the way I am from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Haha, so funny Vicki. You are right, those old pictures always look so mad or sad and it creeps me out too but I still love the vintage pics 😆 Always love your take on vintage style pages. Thanks for sharing, it's turned out beautiful. 💕
I love this page so much! I also love Tim Holtz products. I have been using this kind of a look for birthday and other cards for my family. I wasn't sure if it was really a "thing" or not, but when I heard you mentioned making cards in a similar style, it made me very happy. Thank you Vicky!
No rules in crafting! Do what makes you happy, that’s what I say!!! These are amazing cards with all the details and layers, the recipient can look at them again and again and always discover something new!
Vicky, I love watching and listening as you go through the process of creating a collaged piece in your art journal without a specific plan. Whenever Tim Holtz “people” are used in a piece, I often see a story being created…I thought the use of the craft paper (the beach) with the Distressed Oxide Ink Salvaged Patina (the sea) lends itself to a tale about those three adorable boys enjoying a day at the carnival at the seashore! They had their tickets to ride the big Ferris Wheel (the gears) and enjoy many of the games of chance being offered. “Watch the time! We’re to be home by 4:00!” (the clock.) Your gift of creating such imaginative pieces is amazing! I’m from an island off the cost of South Carolina, USA! 💗
As always very inspiring and gorgeous. You make it look so effortless. I've been following you for about a year now maybe a little longer but I feel like I'm finally starting to see an improvement in my art journaling. Or maybe it's that I'm starting to enjoy it more because it's beginning to come more organically. Either way, I'm so grateful for your channel!
This is so beautiful. And you gave me a great idea. I’ve been hoarding a couple of small binders. I’m going to make my own version of the art journal. It’s raining where I live right now. A perfect day for a new project. Thank you. 😊
Amazing layout, AS ALWAYS!! Watching from St. Louis, Missouri area, USA! Love all your beautiful ideas, even when you start with no plan!! Thanks for the inspiration!

I am from India, iwatch your videos for inspiration ..I am a creative person so appreciate your efforts but don’t get any of the products in india..paper art is not very advanced in india..and getting them from US is very expensive so I try to print out ephemera and also make my own stickers by getting images
Sending love from Stockton, California, USA!! I love this page and your choice of colors. Thank you for sharing your tips and techniques. I look forward to trying them. 😊❤️
Lol Vicky! I get creeped out by non-smiling faces too! That's probably why I haven't purchased any of the vintage people/images ephemera packs. Beautiful work as always!

I watched this video after the ones with the girls. You do have a great similar technique in each. I have so much gray board and chipboard from packaging, I have the materials to give this a go. Thanks for the inspiration. From BC Canada
Hi Vicky ! Although not my style at all, I really enjoyed watching you creating this page and loving the result. Imagine you changing my mind about not doing vintage style pages myself ! 🤭
Hello Vicki I love the way you art journal. I am in Florida in the Tampa area. I look forward to these videos especially the mixed media like this one.☺

I love watching you do your art journals! I haven't gotten into doing it myself, but you are very inspiring. Watching from the state of Montana in the US.
You never disappoint, Vicky! I have so many of these types of Tim's products but I don't always think to use them. I think this layout would make a wonderful birthday card for a man or boy. I've got one coming up on June 2 and I had no idea what to do but now I do. Thank you for the inspiration!
I Just love all your work it looks so easy 😊 and especially your journals. I have decided to try to do them and I am starting to build up a small collection of things that will get me started. Any tips for a beginner would be welcome. I live in Dubai so it’s hard to get products here unless I get them sent via courier. Have a lovely weekend 😊
I love to come over to your channel, when I feel a tad stressed, it is so relaxing and I love the art work, I'm far from you in the middle if the Canadian Prairies in a place called Outlook, an hour south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
