Wealthy people I know personally didn't inherit, they acquired their property by providing what others (employers or customers) wanted at prices they were willing to pay. Then they invested some of it. It took over thirty years to achieve wealth for most of them. 2. For myself, we've lived in the same house for over thirty years. Our cars are relatively low-priced and are five and seven years old. The same is true of others I know. 3. Biden keeps saying "fair share" without telling us what he thinks that is. Half of all federal income taxes are paid now by the top 1% of earners. Most would like to be more generous but they don't get to keep enough of the value they produce because the government confiscates it in taxes.
