i have the same problem with my pixo and px30, mine still flows however and doesnt seem to have ruined my nib, i feel like you could probably save the nib by soaking it in a little pure xylene for a while, in a well ventilated space and a glass container of course. i think it's just a little too thick so im gonna get some pure xylene and thin it with that and see how it goes, its not crazy expensive, and you only need a few ml per marker fill, so it'll last a very long time, but still they should either correct the formula or stop selling it as px/pixo compatible because otherwise i like the paint.
I was going to order some of the new smash ink to run it through a uni, that’s too bad it doesn’t flow properly. I’m getting mops too but I’m not sure if it’s what I’m looking for right now. It’s so hard to find a good long lasting pump action marker paint
Yeah the new smash is a novelty at best, its overpriced for what it is and how much you get, really disappointing. I'm still looking for a good marker ink/paint as well, I like posca 8mm markers but they come off easy and xylene based is too unpredictable with how it affect your marker. Truly a struggle.
Wish I listened to him. I'm having the same outcome with my PX-30, PX20 a PIXO.38s. I'm gonna attempt to save them with some Xylene and, or Hard 2 buff.
Sciz made a video about this , the paint for markers just has finer pigments and are more expensive, sad to see those markers clogged, but does anyone know if this is an oil based paint ?
@@fwitzi2014 when it comes to xylene you really only want to use it in markers you don't care about or metal Body. You can probably use it in there but would have to use it fast, it will probably mess up the nib and the container after a few days.

I ordered 2x 18mm white magic markers paid top dollar to uk too they sent me 16mm i already had 4 of id got for a quarter the cost so i complain they ghost me too but remove 18mm off the item listing so it now jus says large!! I had my 18mm taken by popo so i specific wanted the replacement ya know, i was mega let down tbh ngl and i almost gave in and ordered smash too cos yay its back but no... luckily thanks to you i think it looks like im better off just making my own outta some kinda paint enamel paint or spray paint with the solvent replaced with xylene/acetone @@p00njuice84
