RU-vid needs more than a like button! They need an OMG I LOVE THIS! button! I can’t wait to try this technique! I’m thinking Halloween and Christmas! Oh my imagine a birthday theme or Thank You! This is one of my all time favourite videos!! Thank you so much Tina I am learning so much this morning catching up on all your videos! 🤗
I love every card. This technique is very unique and creative. I thought it would be too busy, but to my surprise, it was beautiful. Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful ideas and projects. I will try the bread recipe when I get some new yeast. I could almost smell the bread baking.
OMG, Tina! What a FANTASTIC technique! I JUST LOVE IT! I love that you can use so many different images from different stamp sets! It was really fun to see your sample of “two” of the inked pages intermingled~~THAT WAS COOL! SO MANY WONDERFUL DESIGNS! Can’t wait to give this one a try myself! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Have a lovely day! :-))
I appreciate the creativity you have in correcting little errors. I usually throw those out. And I think I'm going to begin a bunch of cards using the inked block and filing them for use later. It looks to be fun, easy snd relaxing.
This is such a great technique that lets your brain go all over the place with the multiple colors and multiple images. It looks like so much fun! Thanks, thanks, thanks!
What a “lovely” technique! And, of course, I have Lovely As A Tree stamp set! I have loved it for years! I have some glossy paper, so what’s stopping me?! You showed me what to do & how to do it!
I totally agree with you: there is no other stamp set that has the same beauty as Lovely as a Tree! It is my favorite and one of the very first stamp sets I ever purchased! It will be sorely missed! 🌲 Your cards are really beautiful and I like all of them very much! Thanks for sharing this clever idea!
@@cathyyoung9987, Stampin Up has decided to discontinue the set, so it will no longer be available for sale. That means new customers will not be introduced to it and have the joy of using it. It also means that demonstrators will not be promoting its use by including it in their videos. :(
Hi Valerie! Isn't this technique just the coolest???? When I first discovered it I instantly fell in love and knew I HAD to share it! Have fun with it!
Hello Tina I love how your cards turned out! They look really cute and it's the perfect way to make use of some of those 1000nds of cute Lil stamps that are laying in our shelves and are otherwise never gonna be used!! Tfs
Oh WOW it is that !! Must give this a try as have been looking for a super new layout !! Thanks Tina I love it . Your samples are spectacular. I have so many ideas running rampant now with sets I haven't used !! Thanks again. x
great video. ty for not putting so loud fingernail polish. it makes me look at peoples nails instead of what they are doing. i have a problem of distractions ..tyvm. this is a wonderful video.
I've always loved this technique and you've show cased it brilliantly Tina - especially your last card which is beyond cute ~ That stamp-set has gone straight to the TOP of my wish list - for sure! Tfs ~ C ~ xOx
This is such a great idea thank you for sharing I would’ve never thought of doing this hope I can borrow it. And you look really pretty today in this video
Oh goodness me - I love this technique! It's like an updated version of the Retiform technique I learnt years ago. And that "New Wonder" stamp set - just adorable! BTW - your eyes! WOW - how gorgeous are they! (I'm sure you get that a lot.) Happy Hi's from Cape Town!
Tina Zinck I heard you say that you used chap stick on your blocks to get your stamps to stick. I've never heard that... I did hear that with the new sticky stamps that we mount that we shouldn't throw away the extra that we take our labels for the new stamps from. Take this and cut it in strips and add it to old stamps. I hope this makes sense, I don't have any new stamps right now so I'm going to try the chap stick. thanks Rita
Hi Rita. Yes, I put a teeny bit of chapstick on my block to keep clear stamps on, then wipe off after stamping. I've been saving the excess from cling stamp sets and cutting and putting on the clear mount stamps. Works great! Take care and happy stamping! Xx
WOW!!! Definitely going to give this a try....as soon as my body recovers from our extremely long holiday season in our house. Yesterday was our last get together to give Christmas prezzies...and now we are being hit with horrendous weather here in Michigan - so my old bones are rebelling. I actually have sheets of old photo print glossy paper...I am assuming this could be done on that. If anybody sees this comment and knows either way if it will or won’t work on my photo paper I would truly appreciate you letting me know. Thank you for this amazing video!
Hi Cheri. Sounds like you're going to need to take it easy! Weather here in Nova Scotia isn't nice either. Seems to me I tried using glossy print paper years ago, but I honestly can't recall how it turned it. Give it a go and let me know. HAPPY STAMPING.
The cards are really pretty. I am not much of a fan on making cards, but that's just me. I do other papercrafting, but I just wanted to compliment you on your efforts and artistic ability.
Why are you going to kiss stamps if you have them and they retire? Do you have to get rid of them if they retire? I have the tree stamps and I am definitely not getting rid of it. I love this card. Gonna have to try this out
This is a beautiful card; this technique reminds me of the retiform technique. On a side note, I don't understand why everyone is so upset about Lovely As A Tree being discontinued. If you have the stamp set, you can still use it to make cards, right? Thanks for sharing this video!
Yes, I can still use it, but from a business standpoint it only makes sense to demonstrate with current SU products. I will continue to use Lovely as a Tree on my own personal projects.
Hi Cindy. I'm not part of this group but you can check out my friend Beth's blog and contact her to find out more information: www.sunflowers-dragonflies.ca/blog/
