Hiii :) I got some new art supplies that I was excited to try out and share with you. Some things are from aliexpress, some from blick, everything is listed and linked below. I got some cute washi tape, watercolor paper (some with glitter!!), a small watercolor set, some brushes and more! Let me know if you have any questions about the products or if you've tried any of them before! I test the supplies out in a simple portrait in the form of a speed paint. Thanks for watching :)

I laughed so much at you drawing on the "not watercolor paper" 🤣 but ey! You made an amazing drawing on crappy papper, your skills are on fire girl 🥰 also that glitter watercolor paper my gosh take my money!!! also loved the watercolors and by the looks of it your cadmium red its pr108 so yep cadmium scarlet i think the color is spot on for cadmium colors c:

Haha i know!! I was laughing at myself. In looove with the glitter paper. Oh so the cadmium color is supposed to look that orange?? I need a lesson in colors and pigments 😅😂 thanks for the thoughtful comment, love 🥰

That's a beautiful painting on not watercolor paper, hehehe. Also Cadmium Red Light is meant to be slightly orange - it's a reddish orange that is used as a warm red in some standard palettes. When I first started in watercolours, I thought the same too because I would get that as my red and it would make horrible purples cause its more orange! The tool for removing watercolour paper is meant to be a bit blunt because palette knives or other sharper tools can scratch or damage the paper underneath since they are so compactly glued together so it renders the surface of the next paper useless. I loveeeeeeeeee the glittery case of the palette! And the little view of the glitters in the final painting shinning in the sun is so cute!

my fav mechanical pencils i get on amazon they're by Baile, and have a sharpener in the place an eraser would normally be which is incredible to be able to sharpen the lead, comes with colored and black replacement leads free

I literally stopped half way to click the link to order the glitter paper. I love Paul Rubens, and I previously purchased one of the pink pebble covered gold pallets. Super cute and I love how AliExpress has art supplies not available in my local stores. I ordered the neon opera series of the paints too 🙊🙉🙈

Thank you! Haha I know it’s hard to see and you can’t see it from the straight over camera angel but at the end I lift it in the light you can see it ✨ it’s definitely subtle
