Dude holy shit, this is one of the coolest and funniest things an actor like him can do in full makeup and costume. What an amazing talented guy and so fun. 11/10
The gory kills are fun, but in my opinion the #1 reason the Terrifier movies are so successful is that David just looks like he has so much fun being Art. It’s just so great watching an actor who looks like they love their job, which must be true if he can be this playful after what must have been hours in makeup.
I can tell at 3:45 when the dude asked DHT for a photo and was declined, i can tell DHT felt bad but I'm sure he understood that they had to keep it moving, because if one person takes a photo then hes gonna get rushed at with hundreds of people wanting to take photo's, but you can tell DHT has a really big heart for his fans
Yeah I was thinking that, also I don't think he knew he was the real deal lol, he said something like that's a beast of a custume can I take a picture.. So he probably had no idea. And yeah what you said, but also he's on his way to the meet and greet / celebrity line where usually people pay for that, so he can't be going around doing it for free unfortunately
@TheRealMisterJ Right On! Can't Wait For The 4th Movie, Apparently It Will Be The Final Movie, But Technically There Could Be A Fifth One If He Can't Fit The Rest Of The Story In The Fourth One, 4th One Will Probably Come Out In 2026 And If There's A Fifth, It'll Come Out In 2028, But Knowing Leone He Might Have Em Coming Out Earlier. Now About The Movie Being A "Final" It Doesn't Mean It's Over For Good, He's Just Not Trying To Do What The Nightmare On Elm Street Or Friday The 13th Movies Did And Turn The Movies Into Nonsense, I'm Sure Like 4 To 5 Years Later He Will Maybe Bring Art Back On The Big Screen
He’s the best. He’s why this whole franchise has worked and become so successful. He’s funny, engaging and dedicated and has really taken the role to his heart.
So funny he puts into the character. And the baby. The people behind him no don’t eat the baby. Then he saw a little baby on a table and freaked out lol.
This is not easy to say but I believe he inserted himself with icon slasher line up with only 3 movies n couple shorts , now that it's impressive i wanted the same thing with the Collector dude but they just left those future films on the shelf
He reminds of Robert englund with his portrayal of Freddy as he has went to the mall in the 80s and 90s dressed up as Freddy and even done interviews dressed up in full makeup art the clown ain't the first one to do this but damn cool to see he is really down to earth guy and loves doing what he does that's what makes a character so great is the love and passion for the character he plays gives it a more authentic feel and gives off a certain vibe you don't get with actors anymore
One of the best things about the Terrifier films is Thorton's complete commitment to the silliness, the facial expressions and the joy he takes in the pain he causes. I love that he does stuff like this, what a great guy.
After seeing the first film I'd probably have the same response as the woman at 2:57 but now I'd probably playfully wave and blow him a kiss; he seems like a sweetheart.
@@CharmCityRado That would have been nice but if she was that terrified he might of had to wait awhile for her to be comfortable. If she's ever at another Convention where Art is causing mischief hopefully by that time she won't be so scared of him heh heh
This videos are probably meant as a therapy for those who are traumatized from Terrifier gruesome gore so they can see “art the clown “ acting nice to people similar to bloopers
Oh! I misread the title, thought it said ‘7 min and 50 seconds of Art the clown FANS scaring galaxy con fans’ I was like, ‘Well I think my excitement for Art/David Howard Thorton’ would scare anyone 😂😂😂 Edit: Also the little girl at 6:00 dressed up as Art’s child hallucination from the second movie was adorable ☺️ so cool that David took the time to play Patty Cake with her. Very cool, we need to nurture our young horror movie audience.
Wish I could've went to this( i live in nebraska, and it was in iowa) but didn't even know about it til 2 days before. Wish they had more cons around here every year but its only like 5 or 10 years
Art at his best, I mean, you could just go to pieces over him. Liked his interaction with the doggy, just as well there isn't a dog in his films, would probably end up inside out!!
Art when is not killing humans in the most brutal way is just cool, like damn it imagine that you see the actor of the art bro(i always wanted to meet him but im brazilian and i cant go to EUA/USA)
