ARTZUID is the leading Sculpture Biennale of the Netherlands. Every two years, 50 high-profile sculptures are exhibited for four months on the green lanes of Amsterdam Zuid.
For the fourth edition of ARTZUID, the stately avenues of Berlage’s Plan-Zuid and the parks designed in the 1990s by landscape architect Michael van Gessel will be the unique setting for sculptures by internationally renowned artists. The sculptures will be displayed against a backdrop of the exceptional architecture of the Amsterdam School. This year Rudi Fuchs, former director of the Stedelijk Museum, selected sixty-six monumental sculptures together with Maarten Bertheux.
