this is going to be long, but i don't understand why people even bother saying something like this under every post that has any correlation to ex-pro players. they have obviously fallen into irrelevancy in terms of being the very best as most of them have found other passions. or they just simply play for fun, and even if they were actively trying to improve they would still be at a significant disadvantage for example, dendi is not as good as he used to be but he's also competing with teenagers who skip school to play 15 hours a day and spend the rest of their free time analyzing replays. they are obviously going to have a better understanding of the meta and naturally have faster reflexes due to their age. there's also the advantage of a younger mind that is more adaptable to change thus having a more modern approach to the game. most importantly they have a better mechanical understanding of the modern game as the majority of their playtime comes from the more recent versions of the game that are still relevant and not the dota 2 from 2013 that was an inherently different game 35 year old dendi probably plays around 2 hours a day and due to the most active era of his career being around 10 years ago, he will subconsciously be more used to the older, more slow paced versions of the game. versions where most niche mechanics that were only seen in the very best players is common knowledge to most, where as his general playstyle is outdated today, especially in the setting of a pub game. he is not even that bad considering his age and i highly doubt he does things like analyzing replays or trying to re-invent his playstyle as he has a casual approach for the game whilst playing to have fun his mmr is kind of surprising though as we both play on the eu server and i'm only around 400 mmr below him if the current leaderboard placing is accurate. keep in mind i only have around 4k hours played since 2012. but i actively try to get better by using half of my limited time invested into dota by going over my replays and trying to implement things i learnt from pro players but to be honest his rating isn't even bad as i doubt he puts any time and effort into any other aspect than just playing the game. mechanically he's significantly better than me at just about anything and if general mechanics was the only deciding factor he would have a way higher rating. but since he just plays the game for fun he probably doesn't care to go over the other aspects of the game that are just as important to climb mmr. from the few games i've played with him he hasn't flamed anyone and has been encouraging on the mic. there are unironically worse players than him mechanically that still play at a professional level, kuroky is a good example, but i don't even think he plays pubs. regardless it's not like dendi arrogantly claims to be a tier1 player, so just let him have fun if u wanna be negative at least channel it towards the people who deserve it. for example the delusional players who have 20k hours in dota 2 and thousands of hours in allstars+hon. players who have actively queued up for 8 hours every day since the release of ranked. think of those who are unable to improve due to ignorance and undeniable superiority complex, regardless of staring at the same game screen for over 2 years of REAL time in active game time. the most glaring examples are the countless of streamers that are 2000 mmr higher than their teammates due to the declining playerbase, and it's to be expected to have a higher rating than a lot of your team if you play 14 pubs a day. yet they will still flame their 4/5 who got home from work/university to play ONE pub in their limited spare time. those are the truly bad players as they throw so much time into something, whilst being stuck at virtually the same skill level due to their inability to self reflect and instead of just playing the game they chose to flame people who are just trying to have fun. it's very common that they just give up and walk back into the same lane they died 4 times in whilst making baseless assumptions about the character of the casual players with 20% of their playtime instead of giving them constructive feedback

That team doesn't have an active roster and he created that organization himself, that's the only reason he's still in it and why it's still listed on his Liquidpedia. I don't even know when their last official match was. I agree with his comment though, it's unnecessary to try call out Dendi or other players that are way past their prime, you can clearly see his match history and it's obvious that he doesn't care about being the best, I doubt he considers him anywhere near the best either. At least he's humble.@ss264

"projecting" is crazy. the only thing in the comment that was in reference to myself was my lack of free time as i'm in my last year of uni while working part time. not really enjoyable to have some degenerate who is really not as good as he thinks he is tell you how bad you are even if the mistake was on them. when you are trying your hardest to win and your highest rated player that should be performing the best is losing the battle with his own emotions instead of playing the game i'd say that is someone more valid of comments such as "noob". how can u play 10+ pubs a day and still repeat the same mistakes, and always lash out on everyone else xdd people like dendi don't harm the game and they are certainly not the reason why the player base is declining. the last segment of my comment is about people who don't play for fun but also don't improve regardless of how much time they devote to dota. dont forget they also make the game unenjoyable for everyone else. b8 is not an active team and hasn't been for a year so idk what ur talking about, it's apparently his own org but they don't have players on their roster lol@ss264​

i think dendi was overrated in his prime but the negative comments towards a positive person who had so much dedication for the game is unwarranted. "chatgpt" is crazy. that comment was made in like 10 minutes, while using only lower case, slang and improper grammar. if you ever get an education past high school perhaps you will be able to voice your opinion through text consisting of more than a sentence@user-bu5ui3je3o
