People who play music like this on repeat this many times have something wrong with them. There's NOTHING unique, original or new about this. Nothing deep, nothing to explore, nothing to savor...Seek help.
I dont understand what kind of a calming drug this song has, it just calms me down in ways i dont know how to explain, it empties my thoughts, makes me feel calm and safe, it makes me feel empty in a happy way and not in a depressing as kind of empty. And the louder it is, the better it is. This is a absolute masterpiece.
@@Karmasucks000 most stuff these days has the warm sound of the early 90s for nostalgia, its like how jpeg mafia sampled that ridge racer composer and everyone KNEW that beat from back in the day and it sounded familar but it was new
I'm an old dude and I've been obsessed with this track for a couple of weeks now. So glad that the music video dropped. What a fucking banger this song is. Artemas' success is well deserved.
I listening to this and thought that this has the exact feel/vibe of my clubbing days in my 20s. And how I miss that sometimes! I am in my 30s Ofcourse I could, technically, still go clubbing but it wouldn't feel like this anymore
Basically Artemis was a marketing genius, knew it would be popular after a snippet went viral, strung out the release process and ended up millions of streams if it within the first 24hrs, and it continued to grow
Darkwave is just such a cool genre, it's so incredibly melanchonic and a vibe, especially this is verx addicting, don't know how to describe it better..
From nowhere? No, you came from nowhere. Artemas dropped one of the most beautiful albums of the Pandemic. Then he switched after moving to LA to accommodate ya'll.
An absolute BANGER and that’s coming from someone who was partying during the 90’s and early 2000’s techno/d&b/hardstyle. This would’ve been a number 1 song for 2 decades back then and it should be 1 now.
I am utterly shocked that this is from only a month ago. It creates such a nostalgic feeling, like a long forgotten classic you've just heard for the first time in years and fell in love with all over again.
For me - it feeds into the nostalgia, melancholy, and depression when I'm feeling those. Normal song in other times but it hearing it drags me back, like a wave taking you to the sea.
r u serious, the song was released a month ago, the music video is just 8 days old, just search the song up and look at the official lyric video by the same person. Do your research buddy
It’s a good mixture of 80s dark wave (bassline and guitar motifs mostly), techno pop, praise kink, TikTok chipmunk, and a catchy hook. Can see why it’s so well liked.
This song was released just 3 months ago but it feels like I've heard it a million times. It's instantly addictive and has that nostalgic 90s vibe that makes you want to dance the night away. The music video is great, too. I love watching Artemas just vibing out in it. This song is going to be huge, mark my words!
Why is this song so addicting?? And and gives 80’s vibes??? I don’t know how they managed to include that *and* somewhat of a synth wave??? This song is a *literal* work of art, good job (I’m hooked).
I dug into it, and discovered that the stems's instruments are actually plugins and instruments from the 80s and 90s. Probably why you have that 80s feeling.
it has that "it's spring 2020, the quarantine just started, I downloaded tiktok and I'm slowly getting addicted to it" vibes, this song weirdly triggers the exact nostalgia of those songs that were all over the internet back then
@@ATayea yeeeees! it's that scroll from Roses to "Timothée Chalamet edits w/ sped up Play Date" to "I'll make a cup of coffee for your head" to "I been trying not to go off the deep end" to "someone dancing to Don Toliver - No Idea"
Such a cool retro sounding vibe! I grew up in the 80's and this give me the feels in just the right way. I love this, can't explain exactly why, I just know it gives me max vibes and all the goosebumps 🤩❤ my summer theme song for 2024 for sure
Omg THATS what I was trying to connect it with. I wish I could describe this style in lesser words ❤ You know like other than haunting edm deep pop or find some remix etc, there are more specific words yet the playlists still don’t hit this even semi consistently. My new repeat song for a bit. Brb mr kitty 🐱
It is confirmed! I'm 46, I rarely listen to music nowadays, but this song hits different. Playing DCS World with this music on repeat while doing aerobatics in an SU-27 is lit AF!
I know it’s party time makes me wanna get up and just dance and have fun this song is so freaking amazingly beautiful I freaking love it ❤ yes I do repeat the same part sometimes like 10 or 12 times lol just to get it out of my system for the moment 😂
It feels like alcohol and other hard drugs decided to create a song, and they chose Artemas to bring it to life. It truly hits, hits, hits. So addictive tho, this song should be illegal.
Really is a timeless creation. Feels like nostalgia kicking in. The girl you kissed and dragged you inside. But you remembered nothing of the night before even though everyone knows the storey
@@PrivateSmiles ????? That's not my point whatsoever. I was simply surprised on how this song is spreading fast beyond young people, who are the main consumers of newer music.
No actually I regressed for a sec I didn’t know I could do that 😮😮 Had to look it up 😂.. now I feel I can conquer the world 😢😅❤☺️🙏🏼💕😂 no lie I’ll totally be ok w this
Not sexual either omg plz don’t go there not what I mean 🤣 I reread my comment and no, ok no judgement I’m js for ME 💕 I’m talking about the being “proud of you” line.. and plus the music touches both seductive hypnotic a/o sleepy mesmerizing safe stuff… Sure there’s a better person than I to explain what I mean? 🤔🧐🙃
Yet still contemporary, that's it, not like blinding lights which is great, but feels to me almost full on 80's to me, like if you played blinding lights in a club in 1983 nobody would go what's this? If you played this it would be different, it has that 90's rock mixed in. This is the first new artist I liked in 20 years, not just a single song, but in general, I'm interested in the possibilities of new music again.
Kicked out of home, no job, isolated from family and friends, long depression ... sat out my door cold and rained on and this song brought my mood and mind so back up.
