I’m using a TR 930 spin pro for about a month now. It’s a very good racquet. Pretty powerful and it has good plow through. They also make great tennis shoes. Much better than any Asiics I’ve used.
Hello. I follow your videos with great interest and I think you are very qualified in what you do. your advices are very good and correct. you piqued my interest with this video about TR960 CONTROL TOUR 16x19, but when I studied the specifications I realized that TR960 CONTROL PRO is better for me. I would be curious to know your professional opinion about this model, which is slightly different from what you presented here. I wish you all the best and success in what you do.
I think most of the competşition to market drop-out rackets alike this needs weight on 15 and 21. I use an 18x20 of this. 1.23 poly fiber mains, 1.25 woft cross. like it. Added 4 grams to edges and 1gram to front. Thank you for the throat comment.
I got the 16x19 racquet a couple of months ago & after a few adjustments (added a bit of weight at 3, 9 & 12) and preferred it to my existing racquet (modified Clash 100) so I switched to it pretty much straight away. I also had a Decathlon voucher so it only ended up costing me about £60 ($70) - amazing value for money 👍🏼
Stringing guide information, anyone?! What holes did you skip with the mains? 7 and 9? Where did you tie off the mains? Where did you start/tie off the crosses? I know there's some info on the racket itself, but it makes no sense to me.
They pulled up out of America and you can’t even order one online! They finally have a good racquet and they decide to leave! What a chump move. Do you have any details why and why you can’t order anything online either? Thanks do you sell this racquet in your store?
@@othgmark1 I am too. Coming back to the game after 20 years and not liking the lack of consistency I get from polys (although I like not stringing my rackets every week). Might go back to ProBlend. Can't afford gut.
@@imranahmad7262 l actually play with a poly that l chose in a large part because of its arm friendly reputation. Volkl Vsquare in 18 gauge. If l do start having any arm problems l will not hesitate to return to gut. I hit pretty flat off of the ground the only place l expect a loss is my serve will not benefit from the increased spin a poly provides.
Love the content and reviews! I've been play testing the Artengo TR960 Control Tour for over a week now in stock form and my experience has been different. It offers great control and precision. Spin potential is good but I found it to be under powered and lack plow through. Actually a lot of play testers have said it lacks power. Kind of reminds me of the 2019 Technifibre TF40 305. It is a great racquet for the price though.
I also bought one and it is a racket that needs a fast swing to generate power. But in general it is a very tasty racket and easy to use due to its excellent handling even with low power.
Most pros aren't looking for power as they have high swing speeds and generate enough power. They look for pinpoint control has been my experience. They also tend to play heavier frames than production which gives more stability and plow through. Recreational players tend to get tired quickly swinging these heavier rackets. Try an Rf97 or the Yonex that Wawrinka swings. Great until you start swinging it late.
Hi :), I just ordered TR960 16x19. Could you help me? I've: 1. Gosen G-Spin 3 1.23 2. Gosen G-Tour 3 1.18 3. Solinco Hyper-G 1.20 4. Solinco Hyper G soft 1.20 Which gut do you recommend? How much kgs/lbs? :)
In Canada, only see the TR960 spin and power. For $150 it is a deal compared to sticks over $200, but is this on that level? I can get Prince Warrior for less than $150 and it plays OK. I checked out the TR990 Precision and the stick felt OK, but looking closer at the finish, the string didn't appeal to me, and racket head protector was cheap and not sitting flush against the racket.
@@bournejason66 actually no it isn't, Berettini has completely different acceleration through the ball and finishes differently, I can't believe anyone would think that this guys forehand is anything but garbage? Fire the coach I'd say and go back to basics..
