I have to say, these in my opinion are fantastic. I got my first set a few weeks ago, and I already got more.

I started with the white, graphite and black set for figurative work, then bought the brown set, was blown away for the second time and have just order the primary colour set. They are the best for doing preliminary sketches for oil paintings, or sketching in general. So much pigment that it just makes painting fun. You can also use an eraser to lift them once dried if you are trying to find a highlight. Glad you like them as well.

Ya know? I have to say that your original review SOLD me on the beauty of ArtGraf Taylors blocks. I haven't ordered any yet but it's on my list.

I was reading reviews and apparently the primary set used to have a problem with mixing purples, so they changed out the red for a magenta to let you mix brighter purple shades. These blocks look like a dream!

I have these 2 sets and the white. In my set, it was the black that was much smaller than the others, so I bought another black, because I love the intensity of this black. In my primary color set, I have a red in place of the magenta. I love having fun with these blocks maybe more than with my many watercolor paintings, however I don't think they are lightfast.
