Im very conflicted about the high lords unit model. While the new skin looks cooler , i feel it is in sharp contrast to the arthadein style and color scheme which the older model fit very well. I do approve of giving them a 3rd hp. I do feel like the unit model that needed a reskin was the gateguards. The blue capes can be made darker i feel to again create synergy with the rest of the roster. The team did a great job with the cardolan elite pykes on this matter.
Arthdien has such good elites, best non dwarven sword and board body guard, troll slayers are probably the best melee units in the game because of high attack and the two handed spear attack (very weak to missiles though), and wardens have ap arrows and solid melee stats. Also troll slayers trade evenly with mirdan in melee, idk how well the do against blade masters or palace guard but my guess is they either win or damage them a lot. also keep in mind if troll slayers are supported by a man at arm they do much better since they have the spears and the mass from the man at arm to keep the mirdan at arms length ( if mirdan have a sword and board, and troll slayer have a sword and board unit to help).
Grey company don’t have body piercing, but they do have ap missiles. I don’t think there are any body piercing archers in the game ( or horse archers).
@jameshenderson5705 But : The high lords of Annuminas got only 63 man at their unit The dismounted knights of Annuminas got 112 man at their unit You can see know the big difference between the two units and also the high lords of Annuminas unit is so expensive with 1500 coins it should be like 1200 coins at least
@@samiman5606 Last patch the dismounted knights also only had 63, and no one brought them because they were so bad for the price, highlors are brought a decent amount of the time. High lords are probably the best sword and board body guard in the game.
@Smeaglehasabeard Ok thank you for explain I got it but 63 man in the unit is not enough too small and expensive the high lords of Annuminas should have more numbers like the hammer of cardolin 73 man or like the Rhovakin nobles they got 73 man in their unit soo the high lords of Annuminas should have more numbers like this two units
So do the dunadein rangers not have 2handed axes now because the unit card didnt say so and the charge bonus doesn't suggest so either. Im confused bc i remember seeing them with axes in a video. And are the trolll slayers not ap in melee now ? Cuz with the spear id atleast expect a bonus vs cavalry which the unit card again didn't say
