Maybe you should check out the "FU D.W." series; there's a running gag about Mr. Read having a long-term affair with Mr. Ratburn (since Ratburn eventually married an aardvark who is also a chef).
He wanted Arthur to see the Spring Reading list 😂 Also, there was an episode where Mr. Ratburn's house roof collapsed or something, and he stayed with Arthur's family for a bit.
