no idea why but it took me till today(and late yesterday) to 'stumble' pon Arthur's legacy. The name was familiar yet had zero clue...I'm close to 50, better late than never. Spent most of the night on his Wiki page looking up tunes/works mentioned. Oh how I hope to find myself on a decent dancefloor with this TOON...
My birthday celebrations went tits up this year, two nights afterwards I got smashed alone and dug this out my collection and had it blearing , what a way to make up for it. For a while in my head I was at a loved up rave again. R.I.P Arthur.
If he did nothing else this single song would place him at the peak of late 20th century music. I will never visit Mount Desert Island without finding him in the waves...see you on the dance floor dear one.
Music from an artist that you want to take with you to the End of the Old World so that it may be there at the Beginning of the New World. There may be only 20 other artists who fit this qualification. I wish you could have stayed here with us a bit longer, Arthur....
