Paul Rudd kept up with Artie surprisingly well. You can tell he appreciates the comedian side even when it's dark. Artie of course is being really self destructive here.
Seen his movies? Guy doesn't miss much. Comedy, he really made a mark in that 2010s era peak. Role models went hard. Edit: Apparently a lot of the scenes in role models was improv. Damn. Nice.
@@TheFourNineThree have you heard of Ted Lasso? I don’t like it but you can’t deny his success. I used to be a huge Artie fan but he ruined his own life.
He asked Artie to roast him and stood up for him after backlash from HBO. He demanded artie come back, after HBO wanted him to pretend this didn't happen.
As a KC resident, I think Jason and Paul played this well. Don't let a professional comedian know he's gotten under your skin...Artie smelled blood and went for it. But Jason and Paul kept it playful and respectful, didn't get riled up. Perfect television.
The other guys aren't allowed to be professional and try to sit through this mess their agent booked for their careers? Yeah ok being a coked up clown is too real for them
That was hilarious. It’s not the addiction or anything else, it was the confidence he got from being on “Howard Stern”. That kind of shit talking doesn’t come from being high, it comes from being overly confident. In Artie’s defense, who actually likes Joe Buck?
*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ Maaaan PLEASE ! Artie was the best thing to happen to that POS show ! I'd only heard about it BECAUSE of his appearance ! I remember there being a discussion about it on Stern after Art's appearance.
Wasn’t offensive, it’s ARTIE FUCKING LANGE! What do you think is gonna happen?? People are insanely soft, but they’ve been soft af at some point forever, especially with dirty comics
Joe Buck is the most the true form of nepotism. He not bad but definitely not unique. I grew up with knowing and hearing his voice but, John Madden, Al Michaels, Greg Gumbel , Bob Costas, Steve Levey, Chris Berman, and the legend, the myth, the GOAT, the one and only STUART SCOTT !!!!. Joe Buck cant compete. How did he get this show?
Stuart Scott the GOAT are you high? He’s not top 28 and Chris Berman is the hack of all hacks if you keep making comments like this I will have to suspend your keyboard privileges
Buck, around this time was so smug and desperate to come across as funny. He bit off more than he could chew and Artie was ready to pounce. Buck had nothing here and it essentially ended his show
This was Artie at his most annoying. He really thought he was a living legend of comedy just because the popular radio show he was on sold all his tickets for him.
Not a Joe buck fan, by any means, but he held his own here under attack pretty well. Good for Joe. Bigger take away, hung over Artie way funnier than zooted to the gills Artie.
And it went over so well. Buck wrote the foreword to one of Artie Lange's Books'. It was balls to the wall performance wise, comedy wise and ball breakin wise but to all of these guys it was just another day of work in their career of the arts.
@nimo517 he went on letterman told a bob euker story. Bob was not happy with the story and when he ran into norm Macdonald he said that artie klein must be short on material.
Like a bottle of whisky and an 8Ball to the head! Artie Lange Bring It To The Masses Your Come Back : I'm Cumin On Her Back During My Come Back United States Tour. lol. I just miss seeing ads for Artie's Performances. A true legend. I miss his addition to the culture.
