You could use the blood to cool the energy source thing, and hook up the heart to the brain so the heart stops beating when he dies. You should also use the energy production thing to actually power his brain

Couldn't the food(fuel) going in be used to charge a battery that would be used to sustain the electrical input of the body. Then things like the eyes send a charge to make a signal the cause a reactionary effect. Eyes see light and shoot laser at light for example.
