I've done this mission dozens of times, and as far as I can tell (while purposely testing it) killing the boss NPC is what causes the big increase in enemy spawn rate. So now when I go there I search for the core piece on the corpses before killing the boss. Even killing the regular dudes while avoiding the boss keeps things pretty calm while I search.
@@leslieviljoen Due to the mission being bugged, no one accepts it with the intention of completing it. They do it for the Artimex gear. However, if you abandon the mission once you're done, it will lower your rep. The only recourse is to untrack the mission and do something else, or log out and back it again. When you log out with incomplete missions you don't lose rep.
I do like the Hurston Exec armor better. Are you going to continue this playlist? I saw on a stream that there's a new (not sure if elite guard or a 9T boss) in ArcCorp that has Red Morozov and Black Cherry Greycat. There's also the 9T enforcer bounty on Crusader platforms. Am also looking to refresh my Crusader elite security guard armor inventory.
This is a great method. I've found issues with the npc that has the core not spawning, though. As an alternative method that ensures a full set everytime, you can rank up the Vaughn assassination missions under the personal tab. Once at T3 you'll get the 45k award "They Will Be Missed" missions. Head to Hurston, take out the comm array, do the mission and the final dude is the elite guard with the full set and a Demeco LMG. Takes a bit of grind, but you don't have to worry about spawn rates at it is 100%. Additionally, with the "They Will Be Missed" mission, you won't have infinite spawns. You take out the first set of enemies, talked out the 5 new enemies which includes the elite guard, and you're good to explore.
Heads up, doing the personnal mission 'get the goods' on hurston will give you a full armor set and a demeco LMG, 2 if you're lucky and another elite guard spawns
Great stuff IS!! Was so stupid when I wend there to knock down the boss, and collect allot of baddies, the first dead sec. laying on the floor was wearing it, but did not make the move!! So now I have to go back and do another one...in the process I think I will take down another boss. always good to have spares...right? 🙂 I dont know to be honest what armor I like. I think my game play will be to wear the boss armor HD sec when in Hurston, the Mtech armor, when at Mtech and so on! I hope in the future they fix the Arcorb armor, cause that is not very nice, just using red Aril leg and helmet, red ADP arms and Citadel core.
Update: after doing the HD mission again to get the Artimex core!! So wend on the mission, killed again the Boss, filled up my Titan with dead baddies, making 36k in selling baddy armor after looting them all. Think I used about 25 Fs9 mags, bringing the 10 myself, the rest I looted from dead baddies! Now what sucked was, that I checked all the dead sec npc on the floor, and non of them had the Artimex Core, as the one that i guess had it, was naked and during my very long session, it did not respawn, from the dude that did the previous mission before me, all though I was down there for over an hour, just taking the elevator up to fill up the Titan with dead baddies and have something to drink! Will do the mission again at some point, cause still no core, but two sets of Artimex legs, helmet and arms! 😂
These armitex are only till wipes right? 🤔 was thinking of getting the red alert or a canuto but is this medium tier? I just got a red alert set last feb for the large pack and been thinking of this set to always keep it. (Also thinking of getting damon just for the helmet since his gear is med)
Yeah, but you can always loot them in bunkers after the wipe. I bought the white artimex armor, but Hurston security is my favorite. Red alert are also amazing.
@@infinitespace239 ☺️yeah may just loot for now cause i was only going to really get if it was a large core for my pack. Got the damon gear for the helmet and some glow sticks. Can't wait for next patch so we can get our loot always back. 😭 lost my red alert gear yesterday cause my game crashed going into Orison
@@infinitespace239 ☺️since i do bunkers its not too bad but when the update comes will just be nice to always have loot and guns available. 😂 got the flairs to do green in front and red in back most spot to look like a speedy cat with damon
You need to start using a suppressor. They will not flood to your location if you use one, because they are not sure where you are even if they are alerted by a dead body.
Yeah, I do it almost all the time but lost my gun with silencer and did not have any at the.time of recordings so it is what it is. Thanks for the heads up.
@@infinitespace239 I always carry an x3 optic and a suppressor with me in the backpack, so if I find another weapon I like, I can have it ready for anything. Have you seen a Tau x4 optic lately? I've done a hundred bunker missions in a past few weeks and it seems like they do not spawn anymore.
I could not find the Artimex chest, had to take a white one from one of the NPC, will try a mission later too see if i can find a black one :) looks so good!
Nice info! I wouldn’t recommend playing until some of the promised new content comes out. PU is boring and neglected. Hopefully that’s changing we will see..

Same for me. I've done the mission 6 times. Have 6 sets without the core. I've searched the whole bunker for the corpse with the core, and it's never there. Thought the mission was bugged. Guess I'll keep doing it.
This is not an optimized game, this is Alpha. For example GT6 is longer in development than SC, but you can't see that because it is closed Alpha. We are testers here 😂🫡
