Adrian Kellard's short, but acclaimed art career transpired over the 1980s AIDS epidemic in New York. When he was banned from the Catholic Church for his homosexuality, he converted his small apartment into a source of holiness and art-making. Here, AVAM hosts his roommate and dear friend Regina DeLuise as she narrates a look into this remarkable individual's life and career, told through personal photos of the artist, installation shots of his exhibitions, and Regina's memories.
Adrian's work is currently on view in our exhibition "The Science and Mystery of Sleep." To learn more, visit www.avam.org
