Hey guys! Welcome to another convention video! It's nice to be posting more regularly again eheh
In this one we go to London where I took part on the Artist Alley for MCM Comic Con! It was my best event so far, everyone was SUPER nice and I had the best time.
I share a bit of making the products but also some tips and must haves for conventions and art markets! I've been doing them now for over 3 years and conventions for a full year, so I learned a lot along the way. Hope some of the things I share will help you taking part of a future Artist Alley or market!

Hi Dear- I love your illustration. Just a note, I see u are wearing a medical mask while using resin. If you are wearing a mask for the resin process, you'll need a solvent grade respirator. The medical mask will only protect you from liquid splashes and maybe some dust particles in your work space- but not the solvents, which I think is the danger point of resin. I'm not an expert but do check the box on the masks to make sure you are obtaining the protection you need. Your health is very important!

Hey lovely! Thank you so much for your concern 🤗 I know this but my big 3M mask was in need of new filters and I had to hear something while waiting for them to arrive 😭 I couldn’t use the old ones, the smell was really bad eheh. Thank you for letting me know! I’ll be more conscious of sharing and letting everyone know while I film because I know the dangers but some people might not know 💛

I just did my first big convention, it was in my city, over 2 days, and I had 2 helpers and I was absolutely wiped out afterwards! The fact that you still have energy to walk around London after doing that massive amount of work on your own is incredible to me! I hope your weekend was very very successful :D

I was just talking about that with another artist this week! I’ve done a lot of cons this year and I feel like I’ve been getting a lot better taking care of myself during the weekends and it shows on how faster I can recover 🤗 I slept a lot on the Monday after btw 😂 It was a lovely con 🤗

I have watched your videos for years. Congratulations on such achievements! One point that you will notice, while your printed bags are so cute and your customers will think so too, it will be garbage the moment the contents is removed. For the purpose of keeping your cost low, consider a customized logo stamp using only yellow or blue ink. It won’t put the wear and tear on your printer or pocket but will take the same time and effort. Another idea is keep the bag white and use your logo sticker to close when the purchase is complete. That will take less time and expense.

What a fantastic video!! Love watching vlogs while doing some of my own art things! How did you find the process was for going to London to sell now that Brexit has happened? I've been wanting to get back to London but I'm scared that there's visa requirements but the govt gave me absolutely no answers... How was it for you to get through customs? Also I noticed you on the floor plan for Facts in April, hoping to meet you there!

Experimenta usar sacos de vácuo. O peso pode até ser o mesmo mas o espaço é muito menor. Mesmo que não tenhas um aspirador para "sugar" o ar, usas a técnica do "sentar em cima" que funciona na mesma.

O pior é que o peso já vai no máximo, mesmo com as malas não cheias 😂😂 mas tenho de experimentar a ver se ajuda alguma coisa 🤷🏻‍♀️

Se essa resina UV é como a das impressoras 3d, precisas de um "respirator", uma máscara específica (tenta ver no Leroy), uma máscara cirúrgica não chega ;)

Eu sei!! Mas tenho de mudar os filtros da minha da 3M, antes assim que nada 🥲 já encomendei novos filtros, os outros já faziam pior do que ajudavam 😂
