Artist Comfort in my opinion is one of the most important things during the tattoo sessions.

The Reason why straddling is more healthy for your back is because you are in a incline position. Your legs lower than your back. I prefer ergolab chairs due to the have a taller cylinder so that you can do the same as this chair but at a higher height.

Do you have a reco for a specific ergolab model? I have lower back pain from tattooing and have been looking for a chair that will help.

Hi Anrijs im 18 and i really want to get a tattoo but i was wondering if the tattoo is going to stretch too much if i get bigger? love your channel btw

Naturally I don't think you will grow that much to stretch tattoo. all depending on what will be placement and how much bigger you think to get - for example if you want to be body builder and you getting tattooed detailed tattoo inside biceps , then probably yes, it will stretch.

It doesn't look like that chair goes down to the floor far enough for me. Sometimes I need to get very low. I have been using the same office chair with the back of it taken off for over 20 years now and it's still working just fine for me. I would definitely not want that back on my chair. The back just gets in the way. Do artists really ever lean back on their chair when they give tattoos? I have never seen that and I have been tattooing in professional studios since 1991. And by the way, my back is still doing fine using my old chair. It's my neck that has had some problems in the past. Keep up the great work with your videos Anrijs. I like your reviews of products.

Hey. thanks for the positive comment. I don't think anyone uses back rest while they tattoo, but when there's some break you can lay back and rest for a minute. Great to hear you are doing fine with the good old office chair. Sometimes I feel I could use lover chair too, but I usually just pump the bed higher then instead. good luck

I haven't tried Mako , but I love Tat-soul , Been using it now for about 5+ years and no issues at all.

bro I need to know i want a black on black tatto full black arm, like your wife but not designs, full black, which ink should I use!!? i saw a video of you talking about instablack sylverback, should I ise that one and thats it? D:!! well im not a tatto artist but after watching your videos i wanna buy the ink for the tattoo artist is going to do it, im from costa rica! thnx for your videos!

you can't just buy ink and take it to the artist, no sane artist will tattoo with something customer brings in. any quality black ink will be good, just go to the artist and speak about it. I would suggest find some more traditional artist, they will know how to pack ink better. good luck

Tatsoul designs are great but the quality is shockingly bad, it doesn’t hold up to long term hard wear

Not sure what you do with your chairs and how can you say it's shocking bad quality. We are 4 artists in the studio , we all use tatsoul artist chairs and client chairs everyday for 4+ years. Nothing is broken or even worn off yet. I really believe if you using the furniture the way its supposed to be used the quality is great. Honestly I don't know what some artist do with them to claim that quality is bad.

Anrijs Straume Tattoo I’ve had to replace the hydraulics on two client chairs and I’ve had two artist chairs hydraulics completely seize up. Also rusty areas on workstations where TatSoul claim it is stainless steel. Junk quality. Tatsoul chairs were nearly 8 years ago, I’ve been using Plinth ever since and 1000 times better.

We all been using tat soul furniture all the time and no problems. I do believe quality problems come from inadequate use of the furniture. I can't comment anything about tat soul workstations, never used them. I used to work in metal design factory. Stainless steal material shouldn't rust, but in production when you cut it / heat it / drill holes / solder it etc... due to heat it looses that and rust can happen. And working with it / building the furniture, some other metal dust can go in some micro scratches , rust can appear too. it doesn't mean it's not stainless steal. if you wouldn't leave them soaking wet sprayed with chemicals rust shouldn't appear too in my opinion. Thanks, I'll check those plinth out if I will ever need a new furniture!
