Love your illustrations and I know you’ll find your way for people! You and Emma are smart to go to the library, in art school we went all the time for reference. The keychains are super cute. My art journey is trying to learn procreate and maybe affinity. The struggle is real lol. ❤

Thanks for the shout out Ellis 🥰 I love how you went to the library with a mission to get books with people and got distracted by the woodland animals 😆 I’ve got Little Bear’s Spring too, Briony May Smith is one of my favourite illustrators. I’ve also got Grab that rabbit which is so sweet. I want to get more of her books. I know she did one about a unicorn, one about a witch and one about a mermaid too. Good luck with Mermay too 🧜🏻♀️

It always amazes me how far one or two really focussed drawing sessions can take us in development. I’m watching your videos in a very confused order so I don’t know if you kept up with the changes in the mouth or people yet. 😁 but I just doodled from a photo while watching your video and just this one session taught me something new about colour and what brushes I like.
It really helps when samples are available so I hope the keychains work out in the end - they're very cute! I have a couple of your wooden ones and they're still going strong after a couple of years. My art journey is on pause at the moment as I've just had a little boy. But I'm hoping to squeeze in a bit of practice when he starts sleeping for longer periods. Currently just trying to find ways to keep my creativity going in the meantime.

I have personally had several bad experiences with zap. Keychains don't last, I've had customers and my family members complain to me about them falling off of the clasps and its super embarrassing and disappointing. I loved that they were eco friendly and things shipped fairly quickly but in the end it wasn't worth it for me. I ended up going the alibaba route for keychains. They're more durable and you get exactly what you want. I think your designs are so cute and I'd hate for you to pay zap for something that's just not worth while.
Oh no that's such a shame 😞 I personally have had great experiences of their keychains but I'll definitely take your feedback on board. I'm still mulling over the decision & trying to make my mind up 🙈
