Gosh all that perspective work, it was fun to watch it come together! It paid off it looks good! But yes, hard agree to everything. I was the same - looking at follower numbers and validation too. I started and stopped so many projects because of many circumstances, but one was definitely because some projects just didn't get the traction - and then I ended up getting so burnt out and depressed that I had to step back. After 2+ years of not being so active online I feel like I recovered significantly, but now I'm afraid to fully jump back in lol XD I just want you to know that you're doing amazing! Your work has all the potential to be a big hit, keep going at it!
Aa thank you I wanted to try some more rigid perspective compared to my last illustration. I definitely learned a lot with this one I did use some 3d for this one but had to scrap some stuff because the model I made wasn’t to scale. Yeah with long term projects you really need to be your biggest fan but if it doesn’t work that’s ok too as long as you learned something from it that’s always a win! And yeah I have friends who have stepped away from socials too for their own reasons. Better to do it own your own terms and be happy 🥰
Loved this video! It's an important topic I feel, the good sides of social media and to create an environment you like. Looking forward to more videos like this! - Love the ones that remain and even maybe reach success tend to be the ones that didn't quit... Because even if you pause you can try again. I have never posted on X haha I hear it's so negative and full of drama. But it could be a good idea as you say, to cross post.
If I had more time I could have explained the pros and cons of each site ahaha. I feel like every site has drama but it’s easier to see on X but it’s also where a lot of artists get their jobs from what I’ve seen.
