yes prince not only wrote all the songs but also played most of the instruments and did all the producing. more often than not he would make entire albums all by himself. he also wrote hundreds of songs for many other artists!
His first album in 1978 contained the credits: "Produced, arranged, composed and performed by Prince." Yep, wrote his own music and lyrics. With probably an output unrivaled in the industry. 40 albums and who knows how many unreleased songs still uncovered in his Vault. He's the GOAT.
@@SKReacts001 I know you are young but being from Minnie and an Artist and to have limited knowledge of the one of the biggest Artist in the World and he's from your hometown just caught me by surprise. He could do EVERYTHING at a high level. Many of your favorite Artist (who have real talent) looked up to Prince. You are right, better late than never.
The Master of Swag…There will never be another performer/lyrist/musician/producer/production creator…like PRINCE 🕊️…he is immensely missed in this world

You mentioned Alicia Keys. He let her cover one of his songs on her first album and they performed it live together around the same time as this. It’s called How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore
Yay!!! Another Prince reaction! I love it!! This performance is actually 3 songs - “The Question of U” (from the Graffiti Bridge album by Prince), “The One” (from one of Prince’s backing bands the New Power Generation. They put out a few “solo” albums but Prince still wrote the songs, played instruments, etc. on their songs. Having multiple bands to do his music was common.), and “Fallin’” the Alicia Keys song (yes, it’s her song and not. P sample). Prince wrote nearly everything he recorded or performed, but he would throw a cover in from time to time. I gave you a bunch of suggestions in the comments for your last P reaction so I won’t list them all again. I will say that “Shhh” from this same concert is amazing. 💜💜💜
Alicia Keys “Fallin” is a cover of a Prince song. She tells the story of talking to Prince and being allowed to record her version on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
