Jorinde Voigt is a great Berlin artist. She has done the research on her chosen topics for her own creativeness. Her works are able to share her creativity, knowledge, skills, abilities, and the use of the different materials on her chosen surface is also sharing her European style to the viewers. This is expanding the horizon of the knowledge of the several of us. She is a great inspiration to the other artists and the art supports as well.
You need to focus on Houston based artist. It seems like the Menil has strayed away from the original mission of promoting local based artists. As a native of Houston I would like to see the promotion of local artist's like Kyle Rislow and Daniel Lechon. I do believe in the international celebration of art but not at the expense of the artist's that called Houston home. I wish you would contact me.
